I am not going, nor have I ever been, but I am so glad you won these tickets.

I'll be there and was actually thinking about going one of those nights, but wasn't sure since I prefer MNSSHP of MVMCP... plus I prefer candy over hot chocolate. HA! But I may... still up in the air.

Bah, you should come along! MVMCP is fun (although I also like MNSSHP better).

Where do you work? We arrive late on 11/12...don't think we'll do MVMCP until December though. To-do list is too long for this trip...and we're just in for the weekend.

We're actually coming down during "Christmas Season" for the first time (possibly only time) and I know that my DW wants to do MVMCP, but, we won't get there until the day after the last one.

I'll look forward to hearing about it.

I think we are going on the 6th. If not then perhaps the 4th. I will be picking up tickets this week so I guess we'll know then. I have late lunch ADR at Crystal Palace.

I wonder if the tree will be back in the town sqaure and the garland will be back up. I hate when they move things around for the parade taping. I can almost deal with the tree being gone but the garland makes it much warmer.

Do they shoot the "faux snow" all over Main Street and Fantasyland every night during this event, or is it just on Christmas/Christmas Eve? I thought that was the neatest thing when I was there the week of Christmas. :scratchin

The new "Totally Tomorrowland Christmas" was...um...interesting. It reminded me of an "Old Navy" commercial..

I am so confused. I just got back from WDW and I thought you retired, Kahuna. I would have tried to meet up with you had I known you were still around. I am glad you were able to see MVMCP. I was there the 10th and 12th. It was a little rainy on the 10th, so the performers did not come out on skates. That was a nice surprise on the 12th. I did not expect that or the horses. It was like a completely different parade.
I hope you had fun.

I never caught up with you...I have too many high maintenance friends. ;) But I did have some great drinks at the Poly.

If anybody spends $500 or more on food and beverage over the course of a year (at table service and lounge locations), oh and you are a passholder or Florida resident (or CM) I recommend Tables in Wonderland...depending on who you are it costs up to $100 but it is 20% off your check and it includes alcohol. They add 18% tip automatically but I would tip at least that much anyway...so no big deal there.

We used it at the Poly lounge, Beaches and Cream, and Sci Fi Dine In...and we're back in a couple of weeks so we'll use it then...it's good for a year (at least--bought mine 2 days ago and it is valid through 12/31/10).

Just thought I'd share...now off to pack...back to home in the AM. Ugh. :(

There was a long time server at Kona who retired.

Art the greeter at the Beach Club retired.

And the greeter/scout at Wilderness Lodge retired.
