My fiance and I are honeymooning at WDW in Aug, 2003, and really liked the Boardwalk from what we've read. I've been to WDW many times but this is his first, and I have yet to stay at the BW. I've been there to eat at Spoodles, gone to the clubs. My question is, is this resort particularly romantic? How about BWV? We are considering either a water view at the Inn or 1 BR at the Villas. Just want extra pixie dust for this trip! Thanks in advance! :D :D :D

We stayed at the Yacht Club in a suite w/concierge for our honeymoon....check into prices at Boardwalk for a suite or maybe concierge to add a little something extra. We loved having the concierge service. Also, we did an Illuminations cruise and a fishing cruise from the Boardwalk which was fun. Have a great trip!

hi: we're dvc members with our "home" resort as bwv. our son and dil spent half of their honeymoon in a 1br at bwv and the other half at the gf. the 1br villa has a jacuzzi right in the room as well as a seperate living room area. the kitchen is great as well.

We stayed at BWV last summer in a 1bdrm and the room was great! The view was of the quiet pool- the balcony was a double sized balcony w/ exits from living room and bedroom- we would stay there again this year if we could get a discount- we loved it!

Ms. Fields (I love your cookies, by the way ;) ), if you go to the Dreams Unlimited Travel website (http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/index.html), you can find all kinds of info regarding the WDW resorts. Since you are interested in the BoardWalk, here is the link to their webpage regarding the BoardWalk Resort area. (http://198.65.141.47/resorts/bw/bw-overview.htm) Don't forget that you can check out the Disney Vacation Club website, too, as well as the Walt Disney World website.
I have stayed in both of the BW resorts -- the Villas side and the Inn side. I have stayed in studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom villas. If I had the choice, I would choose a one-bedroom villa over a studio. And if I were going to stay in the Inn side, I would choose a concierge room or a suite over a regular guest room. It's always nice to get a little specialized attention, especially when you are on your honeymoon. It should (hopefully) add to the magic.
You've got a tough decision ahead of you, but hopefully the link above will provide a little assistance. You can't go wrong with either resort, really. Congrats on the upcoming nuptials!

Thanks everyone for the responses! That 1Br Villa is starting to look better and better.
Love the idea of the whirlpool tub after the end of a long day at the parks. The problem
with Disney is all the deluxe resorts we're trying to choose from are so beautiful! Thank
goodness we still have quite a while to make a decision. I am planning to do the Illuminations
Cruise for the first night we arrive as a little surprise for my fiance. That is, of course, if I
can get a ressie. I think he'll love it!
Oh, and by the way, thanks for all your good wishes! Only 386 days til I say I do!:D :D
