Wondering if any women 40+ are running this race next year? Particularly from NJ?

Or has anyone run it in the past & can they give a report?

You are too funny!!! I wanted to do this last year :) Even saved the http page - and asked every friend I knew that I could do the 1/2 with (since last year you needed to run with someone who was either 40 or older) being only 34 (35 nxt wk) I am not old enough - ;)

they actually dropped that part last year since its now the more/fitness half marathon - it's only the full you need to be 40+. and this year it's just going to be half, they are dropping the full. not sure how it's going to affect the limit, but i think they would keep it to at least 3.5. usually nyrr half marathons are are a 3-hour limit with the more marathon/half being the exception. i think the date that's being thrown around is april 25th, but stay tuned to more.com for the updates!

I would hope it was either the weekend before or after the 25th, this way I could do it. Otherwise, I will be in Disney for a meeting ;) not a bad tradeoff though:rotfl:

I had been looking for info on this race but couldn't find anything. It's showing as crossed out on a couple on line calendars. Have been looking for a half to do with friends in NY.

it really is such a fun race! everyone has such a great attitude during the race, and the crowds are very spirited. also for you walkers this is the only nyrr half marathon that has a walker-friendly time limit (the nyc half marathon and the grand prix series all have very strict 3 hour limits)
