Let me know if you want my recipe for creamy carrot basil soup. It has a chicken broth base and is thickened with rice. After using the food processor the final step is to add some half and half, and top with some croutons and a basil leaf. It will rock your world because it's spoon-licking good!

I do one like this, too.
Saute slices of onion in olive oil. Add a quart of broth, pound of cut up carrots, 1/4 cup uncooked rice. I flavor it with some orange juice and ginger. Sometimes curry powder instead of ginger. Smooth it all in the blender. Really yummy!

Sounds good. I'm going to keep this recipe handy.

I'll stick with Le Cellier Cheddar Soup or the Carrot Ginger Soup at Boma. The only thing I like wiggling in my soup are noodles.

Oh! I feel sorry for those fish!! I would buy that soup, then save the fish and take them home as pets. Yep, I'm one of THOSE people!

We would just tell customs that they are our "seeing eye mudfish" and they are NOT to discriminate against them! I"m sure it will be hard to get their little halters on though.
