They often have their offers on at different times to the UK site. I believe we usually get the free DDP one first as we often book our holidays a lot earlier than Americans do - I think last year, once the offer ended on the UK site, after a while it was then made available on both sites.

Way too early for US free DDP offer, this year I believe it was late march and you had to book by September 26, 2009 for Travel dates: September 29th through December 17th, 2009

Thanks guys!! So is the free dining on the US site not usually available for August travel dates then??

Just done a little Googling to try find some historical dates. Found these

■August 21 October 4, 2005
■August 13 September 30, 2006
■August 26 September 22, 2007
■August 30 - September 27, 2008

For this year just found this http://travelwithkids.about.com/b/2009/04/01/free-dining-plan-at-disney-world.htm
Looks like they offered different dates earlier in the year and then a new offer (dates I posted prevoiusly) later.
If its early August I would say a definite no, mid to late a possibility but not certain til they release dates in Spring.

Thanks Wayne:)
The dates I was thinking of was 24th Aug - 7th Sept 2010 & staying at OKW.
I think it usually works out cheaper on the US site because you don't have to by Premium tickets - we only need Base tickets!! Will just have to wait & see.

I doubt it will be cheaper on .com
Just traced a post I made last year.
We paid 2,164 for 16 nights at OKW with 3 x 21 day tix & free DDP on .co.uk
Priced up on .com over 5,000 but that was before free DDP starte and included 10 day tix. Knock them off and you are still way OTT compared to .co.uk.
Just checked price for your dates, its exactly same as this year for a studio on .com $295/night
This was quote for your dates for 2 adults and 2 x 1 day tickets (minumum to get free DDP) Price Summary Total $4,816.90 (2,919) this should be the price if your dates are available.
Same dates on .co.uk with free DDP & 47% discount incl 14 day tix( slightly cheaper if you only want 7 days) Total Price 1,870.00 Bookable now.
I estimate 1,000 cheaper on .co.uk and your tix included.
Some hotels might be worth booking on .com, values for example as theya re not covered with free ddp on.co.uk but the 47% disc at OKW/SSR is not offered on .com making it way cheaper here.

the rates on the UK site are usually much cheaper than what is offered on the US site.
The US site typically offers rack rates with free dining, whereas the UK site offers discounted rates with free dining.
For example, on the UK site, OKW is often discounted by as much as 47% including free dining.
I very much doubt you'll ever get anything close to that on the US site.
