I just returned from a 5 day Family Trip to WDW yesterday. I have been a Disney Fan since my early childhood being lucky enough to grow up next to DL in Southern California.
On my trip I visited the DVC open house at the Boardwalk. Despite my enthusiasm, I was hesitant to purchase since I knew little about DVC and am not one to make a quick decision to spend that type of money.
So, each night of my visit I sat in bed at my laptop searching the web for info on DVC until the wee hours of the night. After a few hours of surfing I found this DVC forum and procedeed to read 100's of posts each night of my trip. The posts on this forum were enlightening, informative, and entertaining. At 2:30 am on the eve of my final day at WDW, I decided to join--a decision I would never have made without this forum. The next morning I was lucky enough to transfer my enthusiam to my DW. We set off to the boardwalk and purchased 200 pts. at the WLV! Did not even have to wait to get out pins in the mail.
Today I called MS and had a pleasant conversation with Penny and sucessfully planned one vacation at OKW and one at WLV. I even booked the first charactor lunch at olivias for my DD 1 and DS 2. We are all very excited. I was even lucky enough to arrange a short trip for my parents to the BW next month--they have always wanted to stay there but never would spend the money.
