That's funny you say that because I posted a similar comment on the Cougar Board and no one batted an eye at it. So my "escorts" are not listed as "protected prey" over there. :)

But I might have to do the "git outta here, kids, Ya botherin' me." @ DATW. They will be more than happy to oblige. I'll get the big "C-YA!"

My tickets are sitting at will call since I am too cheap to have them mail it and do not trust snail mail to get to me in time. Also I dont trust my self to bring a print out of a e-ticket to WDW. I will be running between the Boma dinner and MK for MVMCP. Should be interesting.

Oh and I am definitely going solo. I still get asked why I am going again this year. I've started using the seminar as an excuse even though I didn't have the funds to pay for the seminar at the time they were available. Oh well, I've met Lee C. last year at Mousefest.

I will quote Mike Scopa from last year's Mousefest 101 when he said, "I know you all want to attend all the meets but there is only 24 hours in one day and you will easily burn out if you don't pace yourselves. Even if you don't meet some of the folks at one meet, there is a great chance you will see them at another meet."

Master planning is great but make sure you leave enough time to eat and sleep ;) :rolleyes1:dance3:

I hope to be there, if it is not sold out and I can convince my family to go again. Not so sure that I can do that. We had planned our trip before DAP was announced, it just worked out to be the same time. So we already have tickets for 12/6. But I hope my family likes it enough to go again, but at $60 a person, it don't look like I can convince them.

Usually the parties before school lets out doesn't sell out. Last year it wasn't till the weekend after school let out and things got really busy that the parties were selling out. I said the same thing last year after attending not one but two parties last year during Mousefest and realized once is better if not at all. Its worth the money as long as you go there for the special events and not for the rides.

Friends of mine found the rose garden next to the castle on the tomorrowland side of the castle is a great place to see the fireworks. We could meet there for Wishes, or maybe in front of it for the parade and then decide from there.

DVCsince02

I am going to be running late for the event because I am also doing the Boma Dinner at AKL. That will be an interesting day since I will be doing Breakfast at Boma and Dinner at Boma. I always make an effort to go to Boma for breakfast at least once a trip. I couldn't get an ADR for any other day so it looks like it will be twice in one day for me.

From what I've read, the second parade seems to be the way to go...much less crowded. Would that suit most people? 9:30 fireworks, 10:30 parade? I like the rose garden area idea...

It's perfect. We can all meet up at the entrance to the rose garden at the bridge to Tommorowland at about say 9ish to 915ish. then get close enough to the parade route for the parade and maybe socialize till the fireworks. I remember last year during Mousefest we all went down into the gardens towards the old boat dock and we can get a better view of the fireworks themselves. now if there are people that want to watch the stage show then maybe staying at the top is better. we can always as a group go do a ride or something.

My experience at MNSSHP was the late parade was better for viewing the parade. The early parade was hard to see, due to the large crowd.

From what I've read last week they offered a ticket to another MVMCP or MNSSHP night or a MK park ticket. If it's intermittent they'll bring the characters indoors and cutback on the parade. No soldiers and gingerbread men. Can't have soggy sliding characters:goodvibes Good news is anything already indoors will be open.

Assuming it doesn't rain I'll be taking pics of the fireworks. I'll proably meet you all for the parade at 10:30. The rose garden may be a bit tight for my 30mm and an odd angle. Straight up,lol. Not sure yet.
