While I was at the fort for Halloween,:banana:somebody from the GG mentioned a club discount. Is there any discounts available to Disboard members, and if so how do you get one?
I have been camping there since I was a kid, in the same RV mind you, and cant wait to go back and meet somemore of the great people here!:yay:

If you are talking about the Group Reservation, then yes there was a discount.

Several months ago, we polled to see if we would have enough sites to qualify for Group Reservations, and obviously we did. (Mininum of 10 sites/rooms)

So I called the Disney Group Reservations office and signed a contract to block off 25 sites for the week that everyone stated they would be there. Then once the contract was finalized, I announced the rate they got us, and told folks to send me a private message for booking information.

This is NOT DISBoards exclusive. Anyone can call Disney Group Reservations and organize a Group Reservation. However, it is a lot of work to get info from folks, and then also several phone calls, etc. with the Group Reservations folks. Also, there is a small bit of risk to the organizer because the contract states that if you drop below a certain number of sites or you have cancellations that can't be resold, then they could potentially charge you a "recovery fee" for those sites.
