Sorry for all the questions and I am not even half way through yet :)

We are going early Feb and obviously it will be cold.

Do kids wear snow suits etc while at the parks, I am thinking it will be different to dressing them while just being at home as you are going in and out of warmth (or not leaving the house at all if it is really cold) but at the parks you will be spending pretty much all day out and about.

I thought about getting some thermals to put under their normal clothes and then adding a waterproof trouser and jacket. With the obvious hats, gloves and scarfs.

Thanks in advance
Kirsten

we all bought ski jackets for feb. it was really cold. to be honest there were times i was a bit too wrapped up but its better to be to warm than cold. what you said sounds perfect. as long as you are prepared for the cold you are fine

A ski jacket is a good thing.
I have seen many kids with ski clothes, and also many kids freezing in small jackets, crying in the lines as they were cold.
Just think that when you'll be queuing inside, it will be hotter. So that's a good idea to wear many layers in order to remove if you feel hot (a bit like an onion :rotfl:)

I took ski trousers and jackets for my 2 in Feb, unfortunately i didn't think to check whether DD's boots were waterproof! First day it snowed and within an hour her feet and socks were soaked. I had to fork out for expensive disney wellies and socks from the shops. I would advise taking your own wellies.

When we went in Feb we all wore ski suits with normal clothes and thermals underneath plus the normal hats, gloves, thermal socks etc. We were warm but there were a lot of people wearing the sort of clothing I would wear going at this time of year and boy did they look cold. It was very noticeable that the numbers of people in the parks dropped considerably mid-afternoon: I think most just got too cold!!!

We've been twice in January with children. I bought Ski jackets and salopettes as getting a snow suit off for a toilet stop can be tricky, plus they just took off their jackets when in the restaurants and were comfortable when indoors.

I bought thermal vests, ski gloves and fleeces. Snow boots are a good buy - they have quite trendy ones in Next. My kids never complained about being cold - the middle DD actually complained about being too hot and refused to wear her hat.:rotfl:
