Some of you guys may remember we bought in Spring of 2001 a Kousa dogwood tree which we planted with some azaleas around it. The following picture is of the tree this past spring along with the blooming azaleas and some tulips. :D

This next photo is a closer one of the tulips. I think they were very pretty. Even though they lasted quite a long time, I was still so disappointed when their time was up. :(

The next three shots are of this tree and area at the end of last August. I had planted coleus and a white annual. What I didn't realize is that I had other stuff there that grew later. It was quite a site. This year after the tulips left, I had nothing until this weekend when I planted some bedraggled begonias around it. No picture of that.
