Has anybody used their Tesco clubcard vouchers to book eurotunnel to get to DLP? It seems you have to order the vouchers first, then provisionally book with eurotunnel and then send them off before the booking is confirmed.
Just want some re-assurance from the experts that it's easy to use and reliable. :)
Thanks

Yes we've done it several times, it's really easy.
Yes you have to order your Tesco vouchers first, so we check the Eurotunnel prices online first to know how much to change up. Once you have to vouchers you phone and book (the number is on the paperwork they send with the vouchers), then just send the vouchers in and they email you confirmation.

Yes, exactly the same as MinnieMouse73 - we found it really easy and there are so many crossings to choose from.

Yep we've done it a few time too with no problem. Your date of travel has to be the minimum of 14 days away too which is worth remembering if trying to get a late deal (as we did in the summer!).
Sometimes though I've found the prices can be slightly different when you ring up to those on the website!- but only by a few pounds.

Yes, same here. In fact we are going on Sunday via Eurotunnel courtesy of Tesco Clubcard :thumbsup2.
No hassle, booked over the phone once clubcard vouchers had arrived. He gave me a booking ref no, posted vouchers off by special delivery and then a few days later got an email with confirmation.

V easy. But you must post by special delivery or you have no comeback if they get lost.

Nearly all of our trips have been by Eurotunnel (only one by Eurostar) as there are 5 of us.
Check the prices on the Eurotunnel website, change your vouchers on the Tesco website, 2/3 days later you will receive your vouchers.
Call the booking number with the vouchers, make your booking and they will give you 7 digits of the booking number. Send the vouchers and the completed form to Tesco/Eurotunnel by registered mail and when they process the booking they will send you an email confirming all the details and the full 8 digit booking reference.
Just converted our vouchers tonight for our Dec trip, so hopefully will be booking Eurotunnel later this week.

I've booked and it was, as everyone says, really simple. Also you don't need to have the full amount in vouchers, you can top up the difference with a debit/credit card.

Using Tesco vouchers for Eurotunnel is very easy and makes the trip cheap. However, I would like to add a small warning.
The Eurotunnel have a limited amount of allotted spaces for the Tesco deals on each crossing/day. This may become an issue at peak times (Summer/Christmas/Halloween etc). If the allotted spaces have been taken up, then the only alternative is to either pay for the entire trip or to move dates.
It happened to us last year. The outgoing leg of our journey did not have any allotted Teco spaces left (on the particular day we wanted to travel and we couldn't change this) but the return journey was OK. As the deal stiplulates that the journey has to originate from the UK, we couldn't use the deal tokens for the return. Therefore the whole trip had to be paid for and the deal vouchers returned to Tesco for a refund.
