:wave2: Hi guys! (finally got this to post! :yay:)
I am just now getting caught up on my Disney Podcasts. Darn life getting in the way of my podcasts! :headache:
Anyway...I heard the email show where you guys were discussing attempting to give away the tickets you guys get with the ABD trip. You guys were wanting to give them to a place like Give Kids the World in the Disneyland area.
Disney actually already pays for all of those tickets. Any family traveling to Disneyland or Disney World through Make a Wish or another Wish granting organization gets free tickets to the Disney Parks already.
I wish they had told you that when you called...instead of making it sound like Disney is just heartless. :sad2:
I had an opportunity to talk to someone in the Marketing Department at Disney in the last couple of weeks, too...and she shared with me that Disney already donates over 7.5 million dollars worth of tickets, goods and services to Give Kids the World families. :love:
Hopefully this restores your faith that Disney is doing the right thing for these kids. Disney has its faults - but when it comes to taking care of wish kids - Disney goes above and beyond.
