Trying to get my autograph book ready for our Dec trip and I had a question, at MVMCP do the 7 dwarfs sign autographs or only pose for a picture? Trying to figure out if I need to add those 7 pages to our books. Thx!

Here is a list of characters that will not be signing at MVMCP:

Snow White and the 7 dwarfs
Pooh and friends
Cinderella, Charming, Lady Tremaine, Drizella and Anastasia

They will be appearing as groups, therefore autographs will take too long.

Calm down! :rotfl: Jake is replacing Leo at H&V, but June is still there, and there is no definitive word on whether or not the Little Einsteins are being totally phased out. Trust me, if you take the time to stand in line and get autographs, there is no way that you will end up with a "blank book (they're EVERYWHERE!). Remember, no matter how many or how few autographs that you end up with is really up to you, and no matter how many you get you will still have a really cool souvenir. :goodvibes

Just curious...for anyone that has printed autograph cards either as photos at a place like walmart, or as cards themselves somewhere else, have you ever been hassled about the content of the cards being "copyright protected"? The reason I ask is because when I went to pick up my prints today (doing the cards as 4x6 photos to go in an album along with a picture of each child getting said autograph) the cashier made me sign a copyright release form and was giving me a hard time that the images I was using were illegal/stolen. :scared1::scared1::scared1:

Now I'm kind of nervous that I signed something...

If they asked you to sign a release form, it was probably to cover themselves legally in case you were trying to sell your book on Ebay or something. Thats what I figured, but you never know! I'm just worried that they'll report me or something?! These photos are for personal use only for my 2 kids. In fact, once they are signed and have been put in the album, they will probably never leave my house again. Now I wish I had left myself more time to use another store and not have had to worry...but they are the only ones who do 1-hour matte prints. If I wanted glossy, it would have been a different story.

MusicMouse, just read on wdwmagic that they will be removing Jiminy Cricket, Pocahontas, Terk and Lilo & Stitch from AK as of December 4.

Lilo and Stitch will still be available at other Parks (and their breakfast), but there is no word yet about whether Jiminy or Pocahontas will be moved elsewhere. Terk looks like he may be being removed permanently. There are also rumors circulating as to who will be replacing them, but I am not at liberty to say anything about it right now. I appreciate that you are trying to help, but until these things are actually announced confirmed by Disney or one of my sources who are actually in the Parks, I try not to post them here. WDWMagic is usually reliable, but doesn't always tell the whole story right away. I am keeping an eye on things. As soon as I know something for certain, I will post it here and update the character list. :goodvibes

So, if I wanted to make my own autograph pages from my personal pictures, how do I do this? I have Photoshop Elements and would love to simply mute/screen the pictures to 50% so the image can still be seen, just not fully.
However - I can't find the correct function/tool in the program.

Hi Hi - I know this is all my fault as I have fallen in love with this creative group but with work and running 2 at home businesses I have just plain run out of time to get really creative. I realise now that I can make the autograph albums up when we get back to Australia so long as I print the photos off so we can take them to the park with us. However I would really love some personalised invitations for my children - how do I ask and who do I ask to personalise some invites for the BBB and the pirate adventure. We are also going on the Dream ship for the xmas cruise and I would like some cruise theme items made personalised as well. Can anyone point me in the right direction :confused3 I don't know where to start. :sad2:

I have PSE 8. First place your photo on a background sheet. Click on it and then look in the layers section on the right. There should be a selection that says "opacity" and the number 100% after it. Click on that and adjust your opacity to 50%. If that still too solid, adjust the number downward. I hope this helps! :goodvibes

If you would like personalized invitations, Pat does them and you can request them here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2757931, or you can put a new request thread on the main board (not both - folks get grumpy about that). I have PSE 8. First place your photo on a background sheet. Click on it and then look in the layers section on the right. There should be a selection that says "opacity" and the number 100% after it. Click on that and adjust your opacity to 50%. If that still too solid, adjust the number downward. I hope this helps! :goodvibes

The list in Post #2 is the same list that I personally use when I make autograph books. I keep it as up to date as possible. Obviously, you don't need to include the characters who don't sign. If you have a favorite who doesn't appear on the list, feel free to include them, but understand that any characters who are not on that last appear rarely and the odds of you seeing them are quite small. :goodvibes

Jiminy Cricket - will no longer be doing meet and greets at Rafiki's Planet watch
Pocahontas - will no longer be doing meet and greets at Rafiki's Planet watch (she is still appearing at Camp Minnie Mickey)
Lilo and Stitch - will no longer be appearing in the Animal Kingdom (find them in the MK or Epcot)

Except for possibly Pocahontas, the rest will no longer be appearing in AK at all. Lilo and Stitch are easy to find in other Parks, Jiminy Cricket only makes random appearances in Epcot and DHS, and it looks like Terk is being taken out entirely. :sad1:

The quickest wasy to make a book would be to either print your images on cards yourself or have them printed as photos and have them bound at your local office supply store. If you don't want to go through the hassle of finding each of the character cards listed in post #2, there are several wonderful generic designs for each of the Parks (I am rather fond of Natalie's) Don't worry about beeing cheeky ;), it's no trouble. I am in desperate need of help with resizing some of your autograph pages. I'm working on my 1900 Park Fare breakfast pages. I am looking to make my 6" x 9" autograph DISigns. On your 1900 pages, it downloads onto My Pictures in My Computer as 1.68" x 9". I am putting the pages into Word to print. When I try to resize the height, it puts the width as 30". I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

Any insight would be much appreciated! :eek:

If you want to resize things in MS Word, you first need to copy the picture and paste it into your Word document. Right-click on the photo and select "size". Thank you MusicMouse!!! The autograph book was a huge hit! All of the characters loved it & made a big deal over it & my son. We got a lot of signatures, in fact the only ones we missed were the Incredibles, Capt Hook & Smee. Mostly because Hook doesn't do M&Gs anymore. & the Incredibles because Landon got sick with some type of virus or stomach flu on Thursday. :headache:
But, thank you for all your help!!! We had an awesome trip & the book was a big part of it for my 2 yr old & me! :love::love::love::hug::hug::hug:

I sent the Passport files, so check your e-mail. Folks here have had luck printing with snapfish, shutterfly, and walgreens as books (Artscow takes longer than you have for shipping, but it's good, too). If you want to print them out as photos and bind them, Walgreens is really great about it. Walmart can be touchy sometimes - it depends on the store. If you are using Snapfish or Shutterfly be sure to check their current promotions, as they often have discounts on books and/or shipping. Good luck! :goodvibes

We (very) recently found out that we are heading to LA with my husband. It will be my 7 year old daughter's first trip to Disneyland. I want to make it special - but we have 3 weeks to plan and that is it. I am ready to go nuts!

I would like to print out my autograph pages into a book - but I am also wondering about the copyright problem. I actually bought a Photopass last time we were at Disney World, but we recently moved and I have yet to locate our disc. It had a release to print on it.

I've read that different companies will not print without a release, but from other people I've heard they have had no problems. I cannot go through Artscow ; we don't have enough time. If I do expedited shipping, the shipping alone will be $49.95!!

Printing will take forever and a ton of ink and time!

What do you recommend? I would LOVE to have a regular book, printed out and ready to go. But I am soo worried that if I go through a place like Shutterfly / Snapfish etc., they will reject my order. Is there any tips / tricks to getting it through?

I am very worried about this. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!

What do you recommend? I would LOVE to have a regular book, printed out and ready to go. But I am soo worried that if I go through a place like Shutterfly / Snapfish etc., they will reject my order. Is there any tips / tricks to getting it through?

I am very worried about this. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!

1) The passport files are for the World Showcase in WDW, so you won't be able to use them in Disneyland.

2) As long as you are using your autograph book for personal use only (you are not going to sell it), you should be fine. Most of us use clipart in our cards, and Disney doesn't seem to mind as long as we are all using them for our own personal use. That being said, the books do get rejected on rare occasions. This is almost always because the person who ordered it called the company to see why it was taking so long to get their books. These things do take time, usually 7-10 days if you are ordering from a company that is printing here in the US.

3) If you don't have that kind of time, the best thing to do is to print them out as photographs and either place them in a photo album that you have "Disneyfied" or have them bound.

Ok, I think I know what you are asking for, and yes, I can do it, but it will take me at least a month to do 10 different designs. When is your trip? What I really need to know is 8x8 or 5x7, because it will make a huge difference. 8x8 will give you more space and is more of a standard scrapbook size (actually that would be 12x12, but the ratio is the same). Let me know which you would like to do, and I will do a trial page and see if we are thingking about the same thing. :goodvibes

Thanks I must have seen it over there. I'll start putting my list together and then go from there. I think I want to do my book a little different this year, but need to probably play around on Arts Cow and get a feel for what I want....I think I want to make coordinating pages where the character autograph is on one page and there's a designated spot for a 4x6 picture on the other. I also want to include pictures of my daughter with the characters in the past as she got sooo much attention last year from doing that in the parks.

I always underestimate how long this is going to take so I guess my New Year's resolution was to get started NOW! :rotfl:

Ok....My dd and I sat down tonight to start planning her new autograph book and looked at all the Chef Mickey pages, and she loves your 8x8 pages which is perfect as I wanted to make an 8x8 book on Arts Cow (and she didn't know that), but she has one request, and I have another. :rotfl:

Her request: Could you do one per page like Mickey's instead of 2 per page on the other pages?

My request: Could you either a) Share your background or b) Design a blank non/character page with maybe some clip art and a 4x6 "frame"? I don't mind doing the grunt work (part b) if you wanted to share, but I would understand if you didn't want to share your background as well. On this second page, I want to put a page beside each autographed one that is set up to just have a picture of her and the character attached when we get home.

Our trip is not until June so we're not in a real big hurry for either (and if you don't have time for either, I would understand as well) but since we do Arts Cow and their shipping takes forever, it would need to be by like early March? Just let me know....Thanks!

I had requested an autograph cover from a different disigner for my son Zachary, but it's getting close to trip time (Jan. 21st) and I'm getting really antsy. When I went back to check I noticed that the disigner hadn't posted anything since October, so I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get my cover. Not a big deal at all. I'm in awe of all the work you disigners do for total strangers. So I'm hoping you can make the red cover for Zachary with Mickey. Maybe move Mickey to the opposite side of the page to change it up and it could say "Zachary's Autographs" and "2012". If you could help me out, I'd be so grateful!

I need some advice from all of you wonderfully creative people :) A couple of years ago we had planned a WDW trip, so i printed autograph cards and all, then plans fell through :( I saved them, though. I knew that one day we would eventually get to go. Now we are planning a trip to WDW in March of this yr. After reviewing how to make the autograph book, i realized i screwed up :scared1: I did no leave a margin at the top and/or sides of my cards! I really don't have the means (printer died) and the money (budgeting money so we can go) to reprint all of those cards. I had thought about probably pasting them onto appropriately sized sheets of colored card stock, then having that bound. Do you think that would work? Other suggestions or ideas? Thanks!!

Lisa - that would be work really great! Depending on what size you need I know you can get index cards in different colors that are 4x6 or 5x7 and then you could just paste them on there. I know I seen a set at Walmart and also at at a place like Staples. Good luck to you! We are going in March and I feel like I have to much I want to do and don't know how I can get it done! :confused3

MusicMouse - I've been checking out your files and you have such cute things! I really like the character meal autogragh cards!

I have a couple of requests:

1) I see under your character autograph cards you have have Tusker House for breakfast; they now have characters at lunch and that is what we are doing in March - would it be possible to have some that same "Donald's Safari Lunch"? Also just a question... does that background print too dark for autographs? I wasn't going to take a marker but I am thinking that maybe with some darker backgrounds I should!??!

2) I love your character meal autograph covers would love to have have 2 please - 1st one with the blue checker (for my son) with the name Peyton and 2nd with pink checker (for my daughter) with the name Marissa. I'm trying to plan creating another autograph book for our upcoming trip. For those of you who have created more than one autograph book (for different trips), did you use the same DISigners autograph pages, or did you go with a different DISinger's pages for a different style? Did you use the same format you used for your other autograph book (binding it w/ a spiral ring, having it published through someone like Artscow, Shutterfly, etc.) , or did you try making it another way? I'm just looking for feedback for what others typically do or have done. I know there won't be a consistent answer, and I know the decision comes down to preference. I'm just feeling others out to see what you've done or which format you've preferred the best if you've tried other styles.

Hi, thanks for keeping up this great thread! I have all my pages printed for our trip in April:banana:

I was hoping you could make me some covers/back covers.
1. I'm looking for the cover with all the characters with the four parks that says "Disneyworld" in purple writing.
2. Another four park page with "Ava's Autographs" in pink writing.
3. The Rapunzel cover with "Abby's 2012 Autographs"
4. And Natalie's dark blue cover with all the characters that says "Disneyworld 2012" (if it is possible to type on it)

Lastly... I have printed some of Natalie's vol 2 blank pages, but was wondering if anyone would be able to make a blank fairy themed autograph page in the same style? My girls love Tink and her fairy friends, but I didn't want to print them all since we won't know who is appearing with her each day.

Bob, If you check out Character Dining, here on Disboards, that will be able to tell you what characters are at which restaurants. I tried looking that information up, but everything seems to be from some time ago. Most of the websites tell us to that when you go to WDW, they offer a map of where each character's location is and the times they will be signing autographs. Or you can just get the most popular characters autographs pictures, that seems to work as well. Sorry I couldn't be much of a help here, but that's what I've done for us, I got the most popular ones that are on TV, like Disney Jr and Disney XD, hope this helps. Have a magical day.:thumbsup2

The first page is up to date. It was started years ago, but if you look at the bottom of that post, you'll see the last time she updated it. She tries to keep it pretty current.

You do not have to ask the DISigners permission before downloading. Just choose and save. Be sure to save them at their 100% view for good quality printing.

I always make our books big with any character my daughter would want off that first list just in case. But I've done our last couple in photo books instead of printing them myself.

Ok....My dd and I sat down tonight to start planning her new autograph book and looked at all the Chef Mickey pages, and she loves your 8x8 pages which is perfect as I wanted to make an 8x8 book on Arts Cow (and she didn't know that), but she has one request, and I have another. :rotfl:

Her request: Could you do one per page like Mickey's instead of 2 per page on the other pages?

My request: Could you either a) Share your background or b) Design a blank non/character page with maybe some clip art and a 4x6 "frame"? I don't mind doing the grunt work (part b) if you wanted to share, but I would understand if you didn't want to share your background as well. On this second page, I want to put a page beside each autographed one that is set up to just have a picture of her and the character attached when we get home.

Our trip is not until June so we're not in a real big hurry for either (and if you don't have time for either, I would understand as well) but since we do Arts Cow and their shipping takes forever, it would need to be by like early March? Just let me know....Thanks!

MusicMouse - I've been checking out your files and you have such cute things! I really like the character meal autogragh cards!

I have a couple of requests:

1) I see under your character autograph cards you have have Tusker House for breakfast; they now have characters at lunch and that is what we are doing in March - would it be possible to have some that same "Donald's Safari Lunch"? Also just a question... does that background print too dark for autographs? I wasn't going to take a marker but I am thinking that maybe with some darker backgrounds I should!??!

2) I love your character meal autograph covers would love to have have 2 please - 1st one with the blue checker (for my son) with the name Peyton and 2nd with pink checker (for my daughter) with the name Marissa. We will be eating at Tusker House, Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare (dinner), Hollywood & Vine (can it please include Jake as he is now there) and if there is room without being to crowded would love to have Chip and Dale on it (we aren't eating at Garden Grill but we are doing the singalong/smores for the kids and they love Chip and Dale).

1) Here are the cards for the new lunch. You will definitely want to bring markers for your signatures. I would highly recomend retractable Sharpies so that you don't have to worry about losing the caps. :goodvibes

Oh Music Music :worship: I just love your 8x8 character meal autograph pages!!! I have to do this size just to use them for the character dining autograph book!

I realized if I want to do an 8x8 album that my cover would need to be 8x8 (sorry didn't think about that when I got the other covers) - I really like the characters you used on mine can you do that on an 8x8 cover? Also a back in blue and pink like you have in the 8x8 size.

Last thing could you do the 8x8 autograph page for the Tusker House with the Lunch cards?

Just to throw my two cents in... For my first trip I printed my own cards and had them bound at Kinkos. I loved them, but for this trip I thought I would try something different. Now that I am really into digital scrapbooking I made all my own 8x8 pages and I plan to have them printed through Artscow. Also this time I am making one family book instead of one for each of my boys. :goodvibes

1) The list in post 2 is kept up to date. Always check the "last edited" note at the bottom of the post.

2) Most office supply stores can spiral bind things. I have had great success with FedEx/Kinkos.

3) You can copy and save any designs that you find in people's photobuckets as long as you are planning to use them for your own personal use.

4) On average you can plan to see about 65 signing characters in a week-long stay. It really depends on how serious about the whole autograph thing that you are. If you are worried that it is too many pages to print, you might consider making a single "Family" autograph book.

5) Captain Jack rarely signs. The best place to catch him is the pirate tutorial.

Finally - don't get overwhelmed. I know that it seems like a lot, but if you use my character list and include 6 or so extra generic cards at the end of your book, you should have all contingencies covered. You can do this! :goodvibes

You shouldn't have any problem with resolution if you have a 10x10 and take it down to a 8x8. Now if you had a 8x8 and wanted to make it a 10x10 you could have problems depending on the overall resolution. What I do if concerned on resolution is print black and white 1st and as long as clear won't have any problems when you print it in color.

Oh Music Music :worship: I just love your 8x8 character meal autograph pages!!! I have to do this size just to use them for the character dining autograph book!

I realized if I want to do an 8x8 album that my cover would need to be 8x8 (sorry didn't think about that when I got the other covers) - I really like the characters you used on mine can you do that on an 8x8 cover? Also a back in blue and pink like you have in the 8x8 size.

10x10 pages are the same ratio as 8x8 pages - they shouldn't need to be redone. A lot of times when you get a resolution alert when making your photobooks it's because they want the resolution to be of good enough quality for a photograph. Our pages are made of simpler graphics, so they usually come out out fine as long as you saved them properly (at the DISigner's full resolution). HTH! :goodvibes

Yes, it will. The Flower and Garden show significantly raises your chances of seeing the two rarest fairies - Iradessa and Silvermist. At any other time of the year you could easily leave them out. :goodvibes

I love the photo books you made! I have been trying to do the same thing, but when i import the images to the pages it gives me a resolution problem and the images are bigger than the actual page. Did you have either of these problems? If so, how did you correct it?

I have an idea for an autograph book, but I'm not sure what's the best way to go about assembling it. I haven't been able to read through all 100 pages of this thread, so I'm very sorry if this idea has already been discussed.

My plan is to collect Golden Books for as many of the characters as I can find (I'll be trolling the used book stores around here as well as Amazon). Then I'd like to remove the pages from the Golden Books and create one autograph book that has pages from each Golden Book. On the facing page (the Golden Book page would be on the right), I'd have scrapbook paper for photos. Some characters could double up on a page, but my goal would be for most characters to have a page from 'their' book to sign on.

So, my questions are.. should I glue the scrapbook paper to the back of the Golden book pages? Are the pages likely to peel away at the edges if I do that, though? I'm concerned about it being too flimsy, and I'm also concerned about Sharpie bleeding through.

Also.. what's the best way to do a cover for such a book, and what's the best way to bind it?

Last year I made a book on Picaboo. I had found the info from couponingtodisney.com. She had links to pre made pages. The pages you have designed on here will they work the same way. I love the photo books you made! I have been trying to do the same thing, but when i import the images to the pages it gives me a resolution problem and the images are bigger than the actual page. Did you have either of these problems? If so, how did you correct it?

This does happen occasionally. It may flag your image for resolution but they usually print just fine (as long as you originally saved it properly). The photobook resolution requirements are meant for photographs, but our images are simpler and require less resolution. Every photobook company should have an editing mechanism that allows you to zoom in and out for size adjustment. :goodvibes

I have an idea for an autograph book, but I'm not sure what's the best way to go about assembling it. I haven't been able to read through all 100 pages of this thread, so I'm very sorry if this idea has already been discussed.

My plan is to collect Golden Books for as many of the characters as I can find (I'll be trolling the used book stores around here as well as Amazon). Then I'd like to remove the pages from the Golden Books and create one autograph book that has pages from each Golden Book. On the facing page (the Golden Book page would be on the right), I'd have scrapbook paper for photos. Some characters could double up on a page, but my goal would be for most characters to have a page from 'their' book to sign on.

So, my questions are.. should I glue the scrapbook paper to the back of the Golden book pages? Are the pages likely to peel away at the edges if I do that, though? I'm concerned about it being too flimsy, and I'm also concerned about Sharpie bleeding through.

Also.. what's the best way to do a cover for such a book, and what's the best way to bind it?

Scrapbooking paper is usually pretty sturdy, so you should be able to glue them to the back of the Golden Book pages and it should work just fine. Be sure to use a good quality scrapbookers glue all around the edges so that they don't peel. It's available at any craft store. A Sharpie shouldn't bleed through those pages. Chipboard covers that are laminated should work well for this kind of book. The instructions on how to make them are in post #1. I would love to see pictures of your finished product - this sounds like a really cool idea! :goodvibes

The list of characters in the second post has Darth Vader and a Storm trooper as characters we are likely to meet. I've never heard of the star wars characters doing M&Gs. I know occasionally you can find them in line for star tours, but they don't sign autographs as far as I know. Do they really sign autographs outside of star wars weekend? I'm trying to decide if I need to make cards for them. If so, where do we find them?

Yes, the pages here will work the same way. The size really depends on whether you like to have one character per page or more than one. A 5x7 is good for using just one character per page, and if you put the characters in alphabetical order they are easy to find. An 8x8 allows for a couple characters per page, but is a little bigger to carry around the Parks. I print through Artscow - their books are very good quality and the pages are sewn in rather than glued in. I have also personally had good experiences with Shutterfly and Snapfish. The only Jake page that I have is this one:

Well, for my upcoming trip I have ordered an 8x8 photobook from ArtsCow (link in my signature). I made one previously for my sister's trip and she said it worked really well so I'm going to test it out myself in March. I think an 8x8 will be lighter to carry around, you would just need to make sure that it will fit in whatever bag that you normally carry in the Parks. :goodvibes

Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper have been doing M&G's to the side of Star Tours after Jedi Training Academy performances. They don't have a set schedule, but they have been appearing there several days a week since September (if you are there at the right time). :goodvibes

Hello fellow Disers! There have been so many questions about making your own autograph books that I thought I would write up a simple guide. Please feel free to ask questions! :goodvibes

How to make a 5x7 Autograph Book (Spiral Bound):
Step 1: Browse the DISign threads to find autograph card styles that you like (see list below). Enlarge each image by clicking on it, then right click, choose “save picture as”, and save it to a folder on your computer.
Step 2: Open a new Word document. Set the margins to 1” on the top and bottom. Copy and paste each autograph card into the document, leaving one space between each card. You will be able to fit two cards per page if you invert the bottom image on each page (rotate 180 degrees). Right click on each picture after it is pasted and size it to 4x6.
Step 3: Print pages onto cardstock. 65 lb cardstock will do, but you can use 110 lb for sturdier pages.
Step 4: Cut each card out, leaving a 1” margin on the top of each card, and ½” margin on each side.
Step 5: Arrange your cards in alphabetical order (trust me, it will be easier to find the character you want when you are in a hurry), and place the covers over the front and back. Take them to have them bound at an office supply store (I took mine to FedEx/Kinkos). Be sure to tell them you want it bound at the top and not on the side. If you do not want to spiral bind your cards, you can always slip them into a photo album that you have decorated “Disney style” with stickers, etc. It makes a great way to carry them, and then you can scrapbook with them or have the ones that you had signed bound when you get back!

[Alternative method: If you don’t want to use up all of that printer ink/toner, you can upload these images and have them printed out as photographs. I would recommend matte finish if it is available. Pick up your photos and then go on to Step 5. Photos can be spiral bound or placed in a photo album.]

How to make the Covers for your Autograph Book:
Step 1: Choose your design and have it personalized. Enlarge the image by clicking on it, then right click, choose “save picture as”, and save it to a folder on your computer. Copy and paste the image into a Word document. Right click on each picture after it is pasted and size it to 4x6. Print the image onto card stock.
Step 2: Cut each cover image out, leaving a 1” margin on the top of each card, and ½” margin on each side. For sturdier covers, glue onto a 5x7 piece of chipboard. If you are using chipboard, cover the underside with blank cardstock (add stickers or stamps to make it pretty) or a piece of Disney scrapbooking paper.
Step 3: Laminate your cover (with chipboard or without). I used clear Contact Paper (available at Walmart, etc.), but you could also have it laminated at any office supply store.

How to Make an Autograph Photobook:
Step 1: Browse the DISign threads to find autograph card styles that you like (see list below). Enlarge each image by clicking on it, then right click, choose “save picture as”, and save it to a folder on your computer.
Step 2: Upload your images to the digital photobook company of your choice. We have had good reports from people who have used Shutterfly, Artscow, Snapfish, and Walgreens.
Step 3: Design your photobook following the site’s directions. There are always many options for page colors, fonts, and styles. Go ahead, unleash your creative side! Be sure to arrange your characters in alphabetical order in order to find them more easily when you spot a character.

A Few Final Thoughts:
1: Be sure to include a few generic pages at the end of your book in case you encounter any characters that are not included in your book.
2: I recommend using regular-sized retractable Sharpies. They come in many different colors, they will write on cardstock, photographs, and photobooks without smearing, and they can be easily handled by all of the characters (even the ones that wear gloves).
3: When you first go into the park pick up a park map that has the character greeting locations marked with an icon of a Mickey hand. This will tell you where and when the characters will be available so you can arrive early and be near the front of the line to avoid wait times. You can also ask where characters will be at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they can tell you where a character is meeting people that day).
4: Remember that these books are for PERSONAL USE ONLY. Making them and selling them on ebay, or even to friends and relatives, is a violation of Disney's copyright and trademark rights!

Beside each cabin door there is a fish hook (looks like a fish and things can be hung from it or a note from the cast members) You hand a shoe holder sort of thing and then people that you have contacted before the cruise to form a group for the Fish Extender Exchange shares gifts. If you look it up on the DIS you can find it. Looks like fun for all. This is our first cruise and found the info for it on one of the posts. :tigger:

Let me go through and check. I think a couple of them do have personal use only things on them.

If I go with Arts Cow, they will be 7x9. At first I though that might not be big enough for two to a page, but after I went back and looked at the signatures from last year's book, I think it will be fine.

With the extra autograph pages I added, I need 38. I'm looking at using Mixbook. Have never ordered from them, but I'll keep my fingers crossed!! Also looks like I'll have to do 8x6 size. I'm hoping that's still big enough! We'll see! :)

It really depends on which you like better. If you want something less complicated, look through the photobuckets of the folks in post #1 and choose a few generic designs, print multiple copies of them, and bind them into a book. If you want something more individualized, print a page for each of the characters in post #2 and then add a few generic pages at the end (for unexpected characters). The DISigners are all so different that you could make a different style for each child if you wanted to. There is no right or wrong way to do it - just go with what you like! :goodvibes

We are leaving February 24th for Disney so I know this is kinda last minute. But can I please get an autograph cover of the Disney Princess' that say "Jerrica's Autograph's 2012"


As well as an autograph cover with maybe Barney, Dora, and Spongebob that say Universal Studio's somewhere, and have "Jerrica's Autograph's 2012" DEFINITELY BARNEY though please, that is my two and a half year old's favorite!!
