I got a PIN but was already pricing a package thru an agency, they said they can see if they can apply the PIN for me but I am nervous , think it's safe to give my PIN to the agent?

It's very safe to give it to your agent. It can only be used for you. They will call in and see if there is availability & such with your PIN, just like you would have if you were booking it yourself. :)

Clients give me their PINs all the time. They can only be used by the person named, no one else can use your PIN # so you are in no danger of losing it.

I just book a trip in May with a pin I gave to my AAA travel agent. She was so helpful with my 2008 trip, that I wanted to give her my business for this trip. She said I saved more with my pin then she could get for me with AAA discount. She also waived AAA booking fee ($15) for asking for her directly.

My clients always call me when they receive a pin. It only applies to them and has their name on it.

has anyone had to take a copy of their pin when checking in? I booked through AAA and they told me I would have to take a copy of my pin postcard with me when I got to the hotel. I know I have booked with a pin before and have never had to do that.

I had mine with me when I went last March, but the CM said I didn't need it. I had a whole folder of 'stuff' because I wasn't sure what I did & did not need, and wanted to make sure I had all of my bases covered.
I don't believe you need it when you check in, but it certainly won't hurt if you tuck it in with your travel docs.
