Which ADR would you make?

If you had to choose between 50s Prime time Cafe or Sci-fi Dine In which would you choose and why?

I have ADRs for Sci-fi, but I watched a video about 50s Prime time. The interaction would be kinda cute for my kids at 50s Prime time, but I'm not sure... We are going for the atmosphere experience more than the food. The food being good is a plus, but it is not the be all end all... I know we are a little strange on that end. So what would you all choose? :confused3

I think the atmosphere at Sci Fi is so much better than the off and on antics at 50's. At 50's, depending on who you get for your wait staff, you may or may not get the "fun". The last 3 times we have eaten there, we didn't get much "fun". At Sci Fi, you are guaranteed to always get a cute little car to sit in with cheezy black and white sci fi movie clips.

We've done both...although not in about ten years or more. We did go to Sci Fi last month for the first time in all those years, and we had a great time. My vote would be for Sci Fi!

Thank you for the responses. I was set on Sci Fi before I seen that video... :rotfl: I think I might keep my ADR and then next time try 50s Cafe. I don't know... Looking forward to more opinions.

We've eaten at both and really enjoyed Sci-Fi better
because it was relaxing. Loved the old
Drive-in look and feel.
I don't liked to be bothered while
I'm trying to eat (I'm a nervous eater) and the antics at 50's were
more annoying than fun or cute. Food was decent at both.

I haven't eaten at either, and had the same decision for our upcoming trip. Here is how I decided...

I grew up with going to the drive-ins, it is a part of my past and I hate that we don't have them anymore. Yet I liked the menu at 50's PT better....so I went with my childhood. I have to sit in one of those cars and remember the good ole' days!!!
I will probably order a burger and shake...big whoop de doo, but at least I can stroll down memory lane!!!
I am so looking forward to this, I hope the food is good!

Both are good, it's too hard to decide.

I will have to make that choice when I book my ADR's.
