OK, we're doing the DxDP{that means Deluxe right?} in February and it's a TON of food! We chose it because my mother has MS and will need time to rest out of the sun, so we thought a sit-down lunch would help. Anyway, I was looking at a couple of menus and I was wondering if my DH and I can split and entree and app one day if we're not really hungry.
Thanks!:thumbsup2

Normally yes, as long as it's not at a buffet or an all you can eat item (Whispering Canyon's all you can eat skillet for example). Also if an appetizer or dessert says 'for two people' you would not be able to get it with one credit.

Also it depends on the restaurant...Some posters have come back saying certain places will not allow sharing

We just came back and we shared sometimes.
GF Cafe even brought out the entree split onto 2 plates already.
If you plan on sharing meals a lot though, why get the deluxe plan? Just go and pay out of pocket and order what you want. If you share, it will more likely be less than each person's daily cost for the deluxe plan.
You can find the menus with prices to check out on allears.net.
We just went with 4 adults on free dining for 5 nights. We just had the basic plan and the cost of the plan for each person would have been $200 plus tax, so about $215 per person.
I added up the receipts and even with getting lots of smoothies, milkshakes, some steaks, desserts at every meal, and snacks to bring home, 2 of us got under $210 in value and 2 of us were around $250.
If we paid out of pocket and cut out a smoothie or a couple of the snacks or desserts that we didn't want anyway, we would have been FAR less than the cost of buying the dining plan.
If you go and order what you want each day, you probably won't spend the $70+ per person per day. Check out the menus and prices and you might save several hundred dollars.

A lot of people on the DxDP have a TS breakfast and a 2 credit TS dinner. They have snacks for lunch if they get hungry.
