1) refillable mug - beer only right? Initial cost + refills?

2) no drink cards? I saw some other line had 12 drinks for $39 (basic rum/coke, screwdriver, etc. - no premium brands)

3) the "drink of the days" - any alcohol content or just pretty for show/looks? Specifically at the Sail Away party - I saw those tall red-ish frozen looking drinks - those look VERY tasty - anyone try them?

Dh and I enjoy a cocktail or two now and then and I have no problem paying for them, but let's be honest - it is worth it?

THANKS!!

Dave is right on with this, (as per usual Dave), but to elaborate:

The beer mug is a good deal, if'n you're a beer drinker. You buy the 20 oz. mug, then they refill it for the price you'd pay for a can (12 oz.) of beer. Without mentioning the name of a particular bartender, I actually got mine 'topped off' a few times free. So, it was the way to go for a beer guzzlin' guy like me. No Coors Light, but hey - beggers can't be choosers!

The tall red drinks you mentioned....I think they are the frozen daquiri's. They also layer 1/2 pina colada and 1/2 strawberry daquiri for what they call a Miami Vice. Very good indeed. The drinks of the day are less money they the regular drinks. They also have two for one margarita's one day.

YES! ;) We just got back from the July 4th cruise and found some delicous drinks. The sail away party drink was "Stars & Stripes", Strawberry Daquari, Pina Colada, and Blue Curacoa...Yummy! I also found a new favorite drink on board, the Kaluah Colada...again, very good. And at Signals, they make a great Mudslide, complete with chocolate around the cup, to sip while sitting by the pool. Part of vacation to me is getting the chance to have a few cocktails, and it was well worth the money we spent on them(which was quite a bit for 3 days:D )
