Updated (no thanks to the waitlist) WAS: I'm living on the edge

Well, I've risked it all here LOL... Last week when Southwest released excellent rates from the Northeast to Orlando, I booked a 3 night stay over Labor Day Weekend...

I called MS & booked the three nights at OKW, it was the only resort available... But we just stayed there in December (and loved it) Anyways, I went on the wait lists for each of the other 3 on site resorts...

On a wim I called MS today to find out if any of the other three resorts had at least two nights available, SO... we're staying the first night at OKW & the last two nights at VWL....

My husband will KILL ME if we have to switch resorts, you guys had better hope for my surival :smooth: What do ya think? Was it crazy or what to risk it?

I've had wait list 3 different times at different times of the year they have all come through......my fingers are crossed....

No I really think he will love VWL - alot of guys do! and you might be lucky and get all the nights there!

Is that first night you need at VWL a Friday or a Saturday? If so, I'd be willing to bet big that you will get it via the waitlist. Good luck!

Well, I called DVC this morning, shortly after 9am to check on that first day, August 31st... I mean I know I'm on the waitlist & all, but I also know that availability always changes & for whatever reason those on the waitlist don't always get called!!

Well, GUESS WHAT!! They had that first night available at WLV's!! I'm just glad I called... she couldn't tell me why I wasn't notified or switched automatically, but I wasn't... So, that's how I got the first night!!!

I still have us on the waitlist for BCV's, but only if all 3 come available at one time, otherwise we'll stay at VWL & be quite happy...
