I need to resend a few pics to a guy who is putting together a book. He wants to use one of them but asked for a higher res photo.

I sent the pics to him through my Hotmail account taken directly from My Pictures. Now, I have done some PP with Photo Elements and saved them at the highest res possible. Pics where taken with my Canon S3IS set on the highest res.

Am I doing something wrong that is lowering the res, or is my Hotmail that is lowering the res??? I would send it through my Earthlink account but for some reason I can receive e-mails but not send them.

Thanks for any help and/or advice!!!

You sent him the highest you have? Did you re-size it? If so, send him a copy that hasn't been sized. If you have not re-sized then you need to tell him that's the best you have.

eta: I can't imagine your email account would size it down. Rather it would just reject it if it were too big to send.

No, no resizing. But going in to look at the Exif data, I realized it was not taken with my S3, but the my old Nikon 4300!!

Thanks, I'll let him know that it is the best I have!!!
