Ok so I have done the sept. free dining 3x.

I need to know if i book the free dining in april (when and if it is announced) and book pop century. Can I upgrade my resort to a mod or deluxe at any time or do I loose the free dining? for example the free dining comes out in april, and the offer ends in june can I switch resorts in july or august(assuming there is availability) ??? or would I loose the free dining?

I dont really want to book a mod right away, because as of right now a value is all we can afford. My dh sometimes gets alot of side jobs in the summer so I wont know untill then if we will be able to move up...

TIA

You could switch to a moderate if that moderate has rooms available that are earmarked for free dining. It's just like airline flights - there are a certain number of seats at the best price and once those are sold, the price goes up. With the resorts, there are a certain number of free dining packages available at each resort and once those are sold, they're gone. They might still have rooms available, but not for the free dining offer.

Ohhhhhhhh...if the free dining booking window is closed. I'd call and ask. My thinking is no, but you never know. You could always hold two reservations (an unpopular idea to some on the boards, I know!) and cancel one when you know which you want.
