Hi, I have points I can not use and a friend recomended sellmytimeshare or rentmytimeshare. Has anyone ever used this service? Thanks!

Why not rent the points yourself using the rent trade board here?

It is a reservation and I think you can not post a reservation until 30 days before the check in date. I am not really comforatble waiting until 30 days before to figure out what to do with so many points.

I don't know about the specific sites you mention. But from the names, they sound more like a sell-your-timeshare place than a rent-this-reservation place.

Although you can't list a reservation for rent on the DIS, there are several other sites where such posts are welcome.

Diane will know this more than me but.......couldn't you cancel the reservation since it's more than 30 days out and rent out the points instead?

I assumed your points were in a non-banking status, but I guess I shouldn't have made such an assumption. If you are more than 30 days from the start pf the reservation, why not just cancel and bank the points? If you are outside of your banking window, perhaps you could still put the points up for rent.
