Is it worth it to leave the park and explore the CityWalk?
We were at Universal Studios 2 years ago, but never left to explore. By looking at the webpage for the CityWalk, it looks very neat!
Your opinions?? Thanks!

I love the citywalk. We did not leave the park to explore, but we shopped and explored on the walk into the park and when leaving too.
I highly a meal at Saddlecreek Ranch.....the food was delish!

Depending on where you park, the lot will lead you right to CityWalk and you can walk through to go to the park. I personally like to go in the evening after Universal closes. If you go early when the park opens, not all of the shops are open, but when the park closes, the shops are still open. CityWalk is also very lively @ night. There are many restaurants & shops to check out. And if you go and see a movie, when you buy your ticket, they will give you some money back for parking.

Yes thats true! If you take the priority parking, then you park right outside the entrance and miss citywalk. If you just do the regular parking, you walk through citywalk to the park.

We are doing a S. Cal. Gray Line ticket/transfer package, so we will be dropped off right at the front. Is it close to that area? I honestly don't remember anything like that last year when we went, but then again, we didn't really even think about that.

So if you are being dropped off at the front, that would be in the premium parking area. When you face the entrance of the park, citywalk is on your right hand side. Can't miss it. So I say yes make time for it before you hop back on the bus, but I would do all you want to get done at Universal first. I would not give up anything at the park for Citywalk. It can really be compared
to Downtown Disney.
