Hi all!
For the heck of it, I tried to see if I could book CRT online for one of our days. I managed to get an 8:20 slot but when I go to check out it says that I have to pay in full. I am on the Dining Plan so I realize I have to give my card as an hold but I shouldn't have to pay out of pocket like it says I will.
Is there a way to put my confirmation number in the Dining system so it knows that I'm on the DP and will charge accordingly?
Yes, there is a spot above where you enter the date and time of your ADR where you can "retrieve your reservation" so you can enter your resort confirmation number and it will link your ADR's to your reservation (and also recognize your dining plan). I just booked CRT this morning online this way. Good luck!

Thank you so much! If it were a snake it would have bit me!
I'm in ADR craziness right now so I don't think I can even see straight.

You may want to check your credit card statement. My TA (and the CM I talked to yesterday confirmed) told me that although the online system can retrieve your reservation and link all your dining ressies to it, it can not distinguish the fact that you have the DDP. Therefore, it will charge your credit card and Disney will not give you a refund until you show up for your trip.
Disney had been going ahead and giving refunds, but the process for doing so was to cancel the online ressie, refund the $, then rebook the ressie over the phone. From what I understand, Disney got tired of doing this and now they won't refund $ until you arrive and actually use your DDP credits.
This rule includes CRT, HDDR, SOA, and Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

I just did mine and while it may not be able to tell if you have the DDP, it did change it from PAY IN FULL to Credit Card Guarantee Only. So you will owe nothing, but if you're a no show, they will charge your card :thumbsup2
