What does bump and pm mean?

"bump" and "bttt" mean "back to the top." as newer threads push a thread down and on to the next page, you have to post something in the thread if you want to "bump" it back up to the top where people can see it.

PM = private message - a member of the DIS wants to communicate with another DISer via the internal email-type system. there should be a link above and to the right - just under your welcome message.

Thank you Chalee94 I'd worked out a few myself such as DH and DS but those 2 were stumping me somewhat!

thanks for clarifying this...I have only been on for a while and figured out what PM was, but never quite got "bump" especially on the rent/trade board....some threads would have posts "bump" after "bump"... I thought "bump" was that they had deleted or censored some one's posts...you learn something new every day- soon I will go from earning "my ears" to a contributing member of DIS..... I am a disney veteran but new to DVC and DIS...

thanks again!

Thank you so much for asking that question and also for answering! I have been trying to figure out bump for a few days and was thinking it meant they needed to close the thread!
