View Full Version : Crystal Palace 2 TS Credit for DDP?

I went to make a reservation for 12/18 at the Crystal Palace for lunch time and it said that it would be 2 TS credits for the DDP. Any other time it is only 1 but everything in MK that day all of a sudden says 2.... Does anyone have any insight?

Good question! I was wondering the same thing. I just made all my reservations - 7 of them - for the last week of January. They are all at restaurants which show as 1 table service meal in the 2010 brochure, but came up as 2 online. These aren't signature restaurants and are in different areas: Epcot, Downtown Disney, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and The Polynesian. It appears that all are coming up as 2 meals per person, but if that's the case, then why have the dining plan? I hope someone can give some insight on this too, because I'm not happy at the moment.

It's a glitch in the system and they are working to fix it. Several Disers have reported this issue and were told that none of the 2TS places have changed. Go ahead and make all your reservations as you normally would.

I believe there's a "seasonal" adjustment to the costs of some restaurants over the holidays. I guess this is Disney's way of making sure that those on the DDP also pay more!

The "seasonal adjustment" is the actual monetary cost of the meal or of the DDP. It does not affect how many credits you use at each meal. For example (and I am really just using this as an example, dates and prices are not accurately reflected :rotfl:):

January 20 dinner @ Crystal Palace $19.99 per person
January 20 cost of DDP for one night $30.99 per person

April 12 dinner @ Crystal Palace $24.99 per person
April 12 cost of DDP for on night $36.99 per person

Does that make sense?
