My Container Plants

This first picture is of a deck box my SIL surprised me with last year as a late B-day gift -- we don't normally exchange gifts but she saw it and knows how I love tulips so she got it for me. She's a good SIL!! :D

Anyway, this picture is from last year. I had put some vinca vine and some pretty pink flowers in it (which I now believe were dianthus).

This next shot is one of the same deck box but taken this year! Just some wave petunias in it but much nicer looking than last year! (IMO) :D

This last shot is of the container I received for Mother's Day this year. I finally got around to getting some stuff for it last week or so. The green and white plants are Brazilian Shield Strobilanthes. The orange flowers are Gerbera Daisies and the little white flowers are Fantasy Ivory petunias. My husband thinks it looks fabulous. I do like it too but feel something is not quite right and hope to do better next year.
