small vessle disease of the brain

Greetings-
we are going to disney next week (!) with my inlaws. my father in law is believed to have small vessel disease of the brain (the mri and report show it- but the neuro is still checking on other things). he shuffles his feet when walking and stairs may be an issue (especially if there are alot of people in front/behind him.) can someone let me know which rides that having the moving walk ways can be slowed down? im also not sure whether a GAC card would be useful. any thoughts/suggestions would be much appreciated.

If you look in post #6 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread, you will find lots of information about Guest Assistance Cards. If he has trouble with stairs or moving walkways, you would want to inquire about a GAC that would allow him to use the wheelchair (i.e. accessible without stairs) entrances/boarding areas. Most attractions don't have an actual wheelchair entrance, but guests using wheelchairs, ECVs and other mobility aides use the 'regular' Mainstream Lines. In many cases, there is no different place for boarding, but in some attractions, you will board at a different place (usually there is a bypass right before the regular boarding area) that leads to the exit for boarding.
