This swap will have sign ups starting November 2nd and ending November 7th.
The date I need to have them is November 25th.
I will be sorting and repacking them on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Will mail them out that Saturday. To beat the Christmas card rush that will bog down the postal system

Pass It Forward Swap

Do you have items from previous swaps that you know you just won’t get around to using? Then this is the swap you have been waiting for. Go through your already made items and pull out what you know you won’t use or have a future need for. Sort your items and put them in groups of 5 (five) points and put them in a baggie. See listing below for points value of each item. I am using the established point system. If I am missing an item, just let me know.
Here are the rules:
1. Each baggie must be worth no less than 5 points. These items must be Disney related. This is to ensure the most use possible for the recipient. Feel free to add extra items of other themes if you want to put in RAK.
2. Each baggie must be filled with useable items. No folded, crumpled, unglued work please. Yes, you may send items made from another board or ones you made for yourself if they meet the basic requirements of most of our swaps.
3. Each baggie does not have to have matching items inside, but it would be nice if you can.
4. No store bought items please.
5. Limit of 10 baggies each.
6. Please label the outside of your baggie with your DISname prominently. This is so I don’t send you back the items you were giving away.
7. You will get back the same number of baggies you send in.
8. Please send $4.95 for 5 or less, 6 or more will need $10.35 for a flat rate return postage. Add $0.65 if you want Delivery Confirmation.
9.These are due to me by November 25th. I will have them swapped and mailed back out by November 28th.
10. Please PM me with your DISname, real name, address, email & phone number. I will make the labels up ahead of time.

You do NOT need to give me the number of spots you want when you sign up. You do need to write the number of spots you sent on your return label. I wrote them down as I opened them last time, but this will double check my work. :thumbsup2

Well, I do peek inside to make sure that the baggies are at least the 5 points and I do try to not give you a baggie that has the same thing inside it. :thumbsup2

One year there were lots of the Little Mermaid items. Some mine, some that others made. I tried to not give the swappers back a baggie that the same Little Mermaid stuff in it. But there really were a lot that had that theme. :lmao: It is fun to make stuff with her but I guess it is harder to use up.

Also if it obvious you don't use a certain element. Say you don't use the paper piecings and your baggies have a lot of them inside. I will try to give you mats. Or if you send in lots of mats, I will try to give you tags. But if it isn't obvious, you just get back a hodge podge. :thumbsup2

I also try to give everyone at least one of my baggies. I make mine have about 10-15 points. I seriously have way more stuff then I can feasibly use in a life time. :rotfl2:


SO - you put in baggies things you won't use. Have each baggie total a minimum of 5 points. The 5 points must be Disney related somehow someway - character, park, movie, color etc. You may add in extra of any other theme you won't use - everyday, sports, non Disney color, boy/girl etc.

I will send you back the same number of baggies from a variety of different swappers. :thumbsup2

Hi Ann,
You know I've been messing with this for a couple of days but I'm done.
I have 10 groups and would like to mail them to you tomorrow. That way you can check them if you want. Im going to Disneyland on the 20th and do not want to have to worry about a swap being due.
I marked on most of the baggies the item and used your point value system.
I didnt have inchies but I did used some Moos and used the same pvs.

Cracker Barrel for TDay? Ive never thought of that but it sounds good.
Can I get that with okra?
Do you go shopping on Black Friday? My MIL and NIL are at the stores at 3am.

I kept second guessing myself... thinking that I'll take pictures of these things on some other trip. but then I remember there will be other swaps and that the only Disney we're doing on our next trip to FL is Downtown Disney & one of the mini golf courses (DH wants to check out DisneyQuest, but I'm not so sure about that yet ) - otherwise we're doing Universal/Islands of Adventure and Busch Gardens (maybe there will be a swap for these in the future????:idea: ;) )

We had a Universal/Seaworld swap last fall- it had real quality pieces but not too many sign-ups. I ended up with 2 spots in a number of groups due to last minute drop-outs. I was just pulling out the extras the other day to possibly give my sister in law for Christmas.

ETA - Mine have more pieces/points because a lot of them are from before the standards were set. A lot of them wouldn't be up to code, but are still plenty usable. But because they aren't to the code now, I added the extra pieces.
