Disney/Winter/Spring Seasonal & Holiday Recipe Swap-Mail Now Please

You are invited to join the Disney and Seasonal/Holiday Recipe Swap, Part 5. The themes are any recipes from a Disney property (for any time of year) and/or Winter or Spring recipes, as well as the holidays that fall in this time frame, such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or Easter. The Kids Recipe group will be either their favorite or something they like to make. If at all possible, please post which groups you want and what your recipes will be for each group. If you don't know which recipe you want to do yet, please post as soon as you can.

If you sign up for a Disney recipe category, you must do a Disney recipe that has not been done in the swaps before (previously done recipe list follows). Don’t worry-there are probably thousands left that we haven’t done. If you sign up for the Seasonal/Holiday recipe category, you do not need to do a Disney recipe. REQUIREMENTS: Make 8 for each group as this will be a short swap and many are already busy. Completed recipes must be 8 ½” x 5 ½”. Staples sells the binders and the plastic sheet protectors for this size. Use cardstock and layer at least once plus two embellishments. Please check in every 2 weeks.

SENDING & RECEIVING: Mail date by priority mail is no later than Wednesday, December 2, 2009. If you are shipping non-priority, you need to ship earlier. Due date is Monday, December 7, 2009. Mail all 8 copies of the swap you do. You will get one of yours back. Please ship your package on time so that we can get your recipes returned promptly that week so everyone can enjoy their recipes in time for Christmas.

Label your recipes with your Dis name, real name, category and group number. Put your recipes in a plastic bag larger than the recipes. Individual zip bags will leave lines on the recipes if they are too small. Pretty in tink and I use gallon size Food & Bread Storage Bags for ours. They are just a flat plastic bag with no zipper and cost about ½ as much as the zip bags. A recipe fits nicely in one too. I will PM you the shipping address after sign-ups close. Mail in a priority envelope or box and include $4.95 (envelope) or $10.35 (box) for return postage (stamps, cash, check) to return your items. If you want your items shipped back to you with delivery confirmation, include an extra $.70. Please do not send metered or click-it/ship-it postage – some hostesses have had issues with these.

I am here at Disney- I have chosen my recipes but don't have the names with me - other thn 1 group will be giant ginger cookies(a cookie exchange one) as that is DH's favorite cookie.

My brownies are a crushed candy mint brownie- but I don't know the name right now.

I can't remember what I choose for the others. I have them types but plan on picking out my paper and getting them done over the holiday weekend.

You're right, you're missing those recipes. So is everyone in the group. Right before I logged on now, I found them sitting on my dining room table. I thought it was pretty in tink's stack. Drat! :scared1: I'm really sorry. Obviously, it wasn't a good week. I'll get them out to everyone as soon as I can. It's my fault. I'll pay the postage. Also, I put DC on everyone's because I like to know that it got there. Usually I do it online and then there isn't an extra charge. However this time, USPS processing was down so after I had completed everything except printing the labels online, I had to go into the post office and re-do it all. I'm so sorry about this.
