We will be on it too! Me, my husband and my twin DD (16). This will be our 10th Disney Cruise, and I am sad it will be our last in the Wonder. I love that ship!
We sailed this exact same cruise last year, and it was the best out of the 9 Disney cruises we had sailed weather wise, so I am hoping for the same this year!

I am glad to see that someone will be on the ship with us! So why will this be your last cruise on the Wonder? Because it is going to the West Coast?

Yes, once it goes to the West Coast we won't be sailing it. Castaway Cay is our favorite part of the trip. ALSO we have twin DDs who will be starting college in 2 1/2 years and so we have to start scaling back our vacations and saving up for college. We own DVC (Beach Club), so we will probably stick to WDW trips for the next fews years until we get through the expense of college.
The only thing that MIGHT happen is if the MAGIC offers the Kids 17 and under sail free in 2011 durnig our spring break (since everyone will want to be on the Dream that year).....when we might do another Disney Cruise, but I won't hold my breathe on that. :)
We did this exact same sailing last year, and it seemed like after Christmas more people "popped up' on the Meet board, so I think we will see more of us in a few weeks on here.

Yeah we are sad about the Wonder moving west as well. As much as we love the Magic, the Wonder really feels like our ship. Disney will have to figure something out for an answer to Castaway Cay out west. There are too many people that hold it as their main reason for cruising w/ DCL.
We stayed at Beach Club for the first time back in August. We really loved it. Stormalong Bay is amazing, and being able to walk to Epcot and Studios makes life so easy. We are looking to buy into DVC in the next couple years, and I would like to get Beach Club on the resale market.

What a great Christmas Gift! Glad to see more people joining us. Maybe we will get a larger group of DIS members after the holidays. Were you able to get the Kids Sail Free offer? That made a huge difference in price for us!
We went on this same cruise this past spring break and had the best weather! Hopefully we will again this year.

Yes, we did get the kids sail free offer - which sealed the deal for me. There were only 2 staterooms available when we booked - we are on the same deck and directly across the ship. I am sure my kids will be excited and I just hope they aren't going to miss too much while we are away. I think I scheduled it after my son's bball season but I think there is a bball tourney for my daughter that she may miss - which is a bummer! Hopefully being on the cruise will make up for it.

Yeah we got the kids sail free deal as well. This will be the first time it will be all 5 of us in the same stateroom! On prior cruises we "dragged" along the grandparents, and stuck the oldest in with them!

We'll be there! 3 Staterooms in all... My husband, 3 children, my parents, brother and his wife and myself!!!! I'm TOOOOOO excited. This is our second cruise, but for two of our children it will be their first! So glad to be with all of you on the most special boat in the WORLD!

did you guys book any excursions? palo or anything else? I believe I got everything I wanted. We are surprising the kids on Christmas Eve - I can't wait. We are doing the Blackbeard Stingray excursion and I am really hoping we are safe enough getting there - as that worries me.

We aren't doing anything that needs reservations. The stingray excursion sounds good though, I am sure you will enjoy it. This is our 10th cruise and we just like to go and relax and not have to be anywhere at any certain time (except for dinner and the shows).

So does anyone else have teens on this cruise? I have twin DDs (16) who will be in the teen club.
If anyone else has teens around this age that might like to "talk" a little before going on the cruise, let me know. It would be nice to know some others before boarding.

The fish extender doesn't work for us because we try not to pack too much stuff (we are flying). My kids are teenagers, so they wouldn't care about doing this either. But I think for those of you with younger kids, it would be a lot of fun.

01-21-2010, 01:56 PM
We are 100% in for the fish extender idea - I know my children will love delivering and receiving. I think we should shoot for at least 3-5 participants this way every day there is a little something for the kids. I am calling for our room number today and my cousins as well so that's two participants. As soon as I get that, I'll list boy/girl and ages. List your room # and ages and I'll compile a final list by let's say February 7 to give us a whole month. I'll post something on the facebook page as well. Come on everyone, do the fish extender, it'll be fun!:cheer2:

We will be on this cruise and I am excited that we waited for this one instead of a 3 day cruise. It will be DH, me, our 2 year old DD, and my MIL. It will be my first cruise ever, and their ( DH, MIL) first Disney cruise.
We are taking this cruise to celebrate with my DH before he deploys for a year, and we are really excited.
I would like to participate in the fish extenders, although I have no clue what I would make or be good at making, but I will have some time.
I just checked the Disney site and it says only 41 days to go!!! Now I need to find a ticker for my signature.

Wanted to add our room for the FE.
#7092 Deck 7- Suprise verandah for my hubby who thinks we are getting an oceanview room.
3 adults and 1- 2 year old girl. No allergies just in case. Hopefully we get more people to join, I looked at Michaels the other day and found some cute small things that would take up very little space in a suitcase.

That is great - 2 more people added to the list. We need to get a total list of cabin numbers and people. are we going to go by stateroom (like one gift) or do individuals for the members of the family? Personally, if okay, I would like to do a family gift as I may not be able to get all things together for individuals....but if you all decide to do the other way, I can certainly do that too. mY kids are both excited about this and I have a feeling they will be the ones delivering the packages!!!! I already have a great idea - hint-hint - I live in Central PA near Hershey Park :)

haha aren't kids great! We will be celebrating our 6 years a little early (it's in June but we are going to a wedding in sarasota that weekend so we will actually get to celebration vacations, plus my birthday is at the end of March). Me and DBF are high school sweet hearts, we both played soccer most of our lives, although now it's hards with college and work and two dogs to take care of. I'm a big scrapbooker, and I love anything disney.
Do we plan on doing a group meet?

Not sure about the group meet. I am still trying to confirm those who are participating in the FE. I don't want anyone thinking I am "stalking" - I sent pm to a few on this board to see if they are doing it or not.
My daughter is a soccer player - son turned to football 3 years ago - we are all big sports people in our family....in fact, we are running the 5K Royal Family Run at Disney the day before we leave for the cruise-

Milton just got his suit in the mail today from express, we just need to get the pants hemed, and I need to get my dress hemed this week also. Starting to get everything together in a pile when I see someting we need for the cruise.

Sounds like fun. We spent the day snow blowing, making FE gifts and baking. My kids had friends over (which I love) so I baked for them...it makes me happy and I do love a good snow fall - which is what we had. "The forecast is for more on Wednesday. My bullie loves the snow...he makes this sqawking noise to go and play in it - it is pretty hysterical..

It finally stopped snowing long enough for the snow to melt but we are supposed to get more tomorrow. I love snow, just not driving in it with other people.
I am trying to finish our FE but cannot find any stickers or embellishments of stitch around here so I think I will go to our closest Disney Store and look there.
I offered to have the list of FE participants on our door since I know we will not be upgrading at port at all. My mil let part of the secret out so now DH knows about his verandah surprise, but I am thinking about ordering a gift basket from Shirley at The Perfect Gift.
1 month left to go :cool1::banana::cool1::woohoo:

Tomorrow is our cut off day for the FE. I will get a list of the people involved for you so you have an idea. I am just going to go off of the FB info I posted previously. We don't have many cabins involved but I think the kid will love it.

We might get snow this weekend, I hope not since we were planning on traveling 2.5 hours north of here to visit my sister.
I would be up for a group meet if anyone else wanted to, maybe a gathering by the pool one day?
Okay jackieslp, let me give you instructions for the countdown.
When you come to the disboards on the dark blue line click on user cp, look to the left side and click edit signature. Copy and paste the code into the box, then click preview and it should work. If it does nto show up then go back to the website and try using another version of the code (html or img will normally work.)

I'm down for a group meet. Usually they are on the frist day either in the terminal before boarding or the ship a few hours after boarding. Me and DBF will be wearing our shirts that I made from a wonderful disigner on the DISign boards.
Has anyone booked Palo for brunch or Dinner? We did Palo dinner on our first cruise and alothough it was nice I would do Dinner again. I'm thinking we might try and book brunch this time. Not sure yet.
Also planing on defintly doing the Palo Wine Tasting one day together.
And that's the only plans we have for the cruise

I am assuming we will be at the terminal early since we have our own car and will probably drive to the port, and although we will not be wearing t-shirts ( Dh will not wear anything matching) I am making something for the FE that should help us. :goodvibes
I would love to book a high tea for Palo, but I cannot find a way to make reservations for it, is there not one on this cruise?

Group meet would be fun - lets shoot for in the terminal as we will be there early too - hopefully the rest of our FE gang will be as well. If not, we could always do it a little later. Funny about the matching shirts. I just tye dyed shirts for the 5K royal family run we are doing on the 6th at disney...my DH and DS are both good sports by wearing them. I don't think i will ever be able to make them wear them again though. I really wanted to do the 1/2 marathon bc it is the princess 1/2 but can't because we want to leave early from BCV to get to port...I am hoping we will be there by 9:30-10 or so. Jason is going to drop us off with all of our luggage and then he will go return the enterprise car and have them drop him off at the ship - it will be easier this way for us....3 weeks to go!! Yippee....

This will be our 10th cruise, so I just thought I would mention that in the past, the group meets that we have gone to have been at around 3:00 right before the ship drill (and everyone tends to head back to the room at 3:30 to get life jackets). The meets I have been to have all be held in the Promenade Lounge. No one is else is usually there at that time so there is plenty of seating.
http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/ships-activities/ships/magic/nightclubs-lounges/promenade-lounge/
Also, there isn't usually any activities going on at that time, and everyone should be on the ship by that time.
The terminal is usually hectic because there will be a lot of other people there, but everyone is trying to figure out what to do, and then you will want to get a good spot to wait for your number to be called.
But whatever everyone else wants is fine. I just thought I would mention what I have seen done in the past.

Go to
USER CP
at the top (it is on a red bar on my computer) right under the bar that shows a twitter logo and facebook logo
Then go to EDIT SIGNATURE
and past in the code for that. My code is :

Except I put in double spaces at all of the [ and ] so it will show up in this message. You have to take them out to make them work. But you would use whatever ticket you want and just paste in the code in the box where you edit your signature.

Sorry I haven't bee good about following this thread, but has anyone put together a "name" list. I see all of our DIS board names, but our actual names?
For us it will be:
Jim (DH)
Debra (me)
Chantelle (DD16)
Michelle (DD16)
I can't believe how close our sail date is coming. I just hope we have better weather by then. Last year we were on this very same cruise and the weather was perfect! That had been our 9th Disney cruise and that one was the best weather of any of them. So I was hoping for the same, but this weekend with all of the weather issues is starting to worry me.

We are also staying there! I called and they said that the shuttle runs at 10:30 then every 30 minutes after that. I think I might have DBF drop me off so I can check in earlier then he will ride the shuttle back at 10:30am. It's easier I think than having to lug your luggage to the Shuttle, but haven't decided yet what we plan to do.

Weather is a major concern for us too. They are forecasting more snow this week and it looks like weather down south isn't much better. On our last cruise (november 2008) we never had the sail away party because a water spout developed over the water and pulled the ship away and everyone couldn't get on and the ship had to be repositioned and then when we got to the Bahamas the rain was coming down sideways!! Our CC day was a little nicer as we snorkeled in the am and rode bikes and had lunch - after lunch a storm came in - I am really really hoping for great weather!

Also looks like our cruise is booked, atleast from the website today you can't book it. I'm suprised we don't have more in our Dismeet and FE exchange guess there will be a lot of non-diser's on the cruise. Last year we had a nice list of FE exchange participants.
Did we decided when and where we are going to meet? We plan on arriving at the port as early as the shuttle allows us. I might get there earlier than DBF, have him drop me off along with luggage and then take the shuttle back. Haven't figured that out yet.
Not sure what the first nights show is yet since Golden Mickey's is gone. If we will be lucky enough to get the new villians show, or the other fill-in show. Haven't seen a recent navigators without Golden Mickey's.

Ok one more lol
For anyone staying at Country Inn and Suites that booked through price line like I did.
I called for a third time just now and asked about the shuttle, and she said it's included, no aditional charge.
Also the Shuttle runs at 10:00, 11:00, and 12:00 for Disney terminal that Sunday March 7th.
If it's that early then we will both be getting on the 10:00 shuttle YAY!!

But someone told me that we will still see the Golden Mickeys. We will not be watching it though since we've seen it twice we will do other things that night. But anyone that hasn't seen it yet I would highly reccommend seeing this show! It's amazing

GREAT!! It's a perfect time! Have you called and asked them about the park and shuttle thing if you book through priceline? I have called three times and have gotten the same answer but threads on this board say it's extra $20. Let me know. I guess they changed their policy.
If I wasn't going on this same cruise I would watch your dog for you. I dogsit friends dogs and nanny during the day when I'm not in school.
I have two dogs as previously stated. I wish I could have more but they get expensive.

I gave up facebook for lent so my countdown on there has stopped and now I'm on the DIS boards constantly! :rotfl: Really! We are planning on getting to Port Canaveral early - around 11am. Glad to know we can see Golden Mickeys - this is our first Disney cruise and that was a show I really wanted to see. Any more scoop on activities on our ship? I feel like I made a mistake with our Palo reservation on the third night - same as the pirate party - what time does that kick off? Will the kids miss something at dinner that night? Thanks for everyones help!
jackieslp
02-19-2010, 08:52 PM
what time is your reservation for Palo that night? The pirate party doesnt start til pretty late. last time we cruised it was cold and windy and Lindsey and I went to our cabin and Jason and Ty went...they came home with a plate full of chocolate desserts from the buffet only to find me double fistiing mickey bars from room service- my excuse was that I ordered one for lindsey but she was sleeping so I HAD to eat both...we still laugh about it.
So, I missed the pirate party last time. I hope I cn stay up later this cruise. Jason and i want to try to do some of the adult activities at night but I am always beat by 10:00.
We will be at port by 10:00 am. I loved being one of the first on the ship last time and when waiting in the terminal (last time) some characters came out so it was a pic opportunity...just being there is fun... and it sounds like some of our FE friends will be there early too so we can meet there even if "informal".
When do you depart NJ for your trip? Are you doing any of the parks or just the cruise? We leave PA on March 5th- two weeks from today.

Hey Jackie! What was I thinking giving up fb??? :surfweb: I feel so out of the loop now. Thanks for your input - we are very alike. I'm usually beat by 10pm myself so not sure if the Pirate Party will be for us especially with my 5 year old. I may be up to my elbows with some Mickey ice cream myself! I love that story! :lmao: I guess I'll keep our Palo reservation - nothing goes on at dinner during the pirate night for the kids? As far as meeting up at the port, that sounds good. We are flying down Saturday and staying at a local hotel. I didn't know you've cruised before - glad to know arriving early could be a bonus. Any other tips? 15 days!!!! :woohoo: After the cruise, we are staying at Disney two nights & going to Magic kingdom for a day - we all did the "give a day, get a day". How about you?

Hi Tara- we did the give a day get a day too!! We made blankets for the Linus Project. Imagine my son tying the knots - it was funny!
We will be at the Bay Lake Towers for one night after the cruise. My daughter's best friend will be there so we are meeting them for dinner at Ohana- our favorite restaurant.
We loved getting to port early - just being there is fun and if we all see eachother it will be neat to get to know everyone so quickly - seeing familiar faces on the cruise is always nice:)
tips for day of leaving port- if weather permits - pack or have the kids wear bathing suits bc they may want to swim after they eat - my kids did that last year and it was great - they had the pool to themselves.
download and print your cruise documents and sign the kids up on line for the kids' club. this saves time at port.
bring bottled water
hang a white board outside your door for notes -
will think of more :)

2 weeks until our cruise!!! I cannot believe it has been coming up this fast!!! Only 7 more work days until we leave for Florida to visit family. We finally have everything in order; our hotel at CIS w/a kids suite from priceline ( in which we do not have to pay for parking, I called and checked), a place to board our dog with cameras, DH's unit finally gave us the okay for his approved leave time.
Even with minor mishaps this past week like my husbands car breaking and us having to rent a car and get it fixed this coming week, we are finally set. We are doing Sea world and Kennedy Space Center and hopefully my family can come up to Port Canaveral before we leave on Sunday. It will be our family's last chance to see DH before he leaves for deployment so there will be mixed emotions too. I am looking forward to the FE, and even DH is starting get into when I showed him the pics of the exchange.

Hello, we just found out that we are going to be on this cruise. My 7yr old has wanted to go on a Disney Cruise and was just granted this trip by The Make A Wish Foundation.
We only know that we are on the cruise but nothing else, make a wish is throwing a going away party for our son next week to surprise him with this trip.
Our itinerary and any other info will be given to us then, not much time for any planning after that. So any insite from you cruise veterans would be helpful.
There are 4 of us Me(47) DW(29) but her birthday is the day we sail DS(10) and DS(7). My wife is wanting to know what the FE's are and how can we get involved. We want this to be a vacation that our 7yr old will never forget. Thanks for any information we can get.

My guess is they will show this the night they don't have a regular show in the Walt Disney Theater and they will probably show it in 3D. That is what happened on our cruise last year (at that time it was BOLT).

I dont have duplicates of everything but what I do have, I am giving - I also let them know (bob and heather) that I have these 2 small tote bags that says "Celebrate) with mickey heads on them that I will hang on their Fish with ribbon so treats can be put in there - if they find something that would be good too but I am sure they are trying to get things together before the trip - just did't want them to stress....their boys are 7 and 10 - no allergies!

Jackie - that's great! Thanks so much - glad to have "fishon882" on the FE list! I can't seem to get the weather for next Sunday just the averages for that day in the past. The website I'm using is saying you need to be within 10 days for the weather - that will be soon though! :thumbsup2

I'm looking at Weather Underground and it says Monday average High of 81 and Low of 65.
I'm having to go out to jo-ann tomorrow to find matching ribbon that was on my Pirate Hat.:sad: Because I left it in my craft room on top of my roll carry on and got home from class tonight to find the ribbons and pirate skull that was on one side ripped to shreds (my Beagle did it):scared1:. I know I shouldn't of left it there (not sure why I did) I was able to save one ribbon and get it back on, but to try and match might be hard. So Im off tomorrow to search for something close, and maybe another pirate skull to put back on it and make it look like nothing ever happened. Only my DIS family will know. lol:rotfl:

Tara, that totally cracked me up and as I read it aloud, My husband said "what's a navigator"...FYI - since you all know that I am totally obsessed with weather - i will let you know that they have forecasted us tomorrow with a ************** BLIZZARD tomorrow - 6-12 inches of snow with winds gusting up to 5-60mph - we have never had snow like this before and if this happens next Thursday I will totally be freaking out, taking my flying medicine even before I get on the flight bc I will be so paranoid of the weather AHAHAHAH-
I am heading out the door to go to DE and then Eastern PA - two stops to make and get checked off the list of things to do before the trip...and it looks like school will be closed again tommorrow so I may have more time to make more FE things for our new Friends!!!!!

Jackie- by the last post Bob did it says Reid is the 7 year old. I think you have it backwards on the list. Lol it's the cold weather getting to you isn't it? It's time for sunshine:)
Good to know!! I look at my scrapbook which has our old navigators in them to see what we didn't do the last time and need to do this time. I've said I've always wanted to do Match your Mate since last march and haven't done it yet! So we will be doing it this time for sure!!

I am a little stressed these days and i always get like this before trips. And now, the weather for Syracuse is snow for this weekend when we are to be driving up there (4 hours north west of us) so we may need to leave on Friday night which means more arrangements for my Stompy (english bulldog) and Laurel (coonhound). Not sure if Stompy can go two nights without humans (besides pet sitter visits). When we go to florida he is going back to his "foster" mom...we got him in Late August.
I am sure all will be fine but these details that I CANT control drive me nutso. Oh well - I have to learn to go with the flow....yeah right!

Tara, westjones (deb) decided not to participate as her girls are older. I do think she may still meet for the meet and greet though (it was her idea to meet at the promenade). I am sitting here watching which schools are closed today and cant figure out why my kids' district is closed but the one next to it (which I follow today) is not!!! I am so bummed - now what to do with these kids? If I were cloased then I could do more FE things and pack for Syracuse!! Hope you didn't get too much snow.

We had Reids MAW party today and received our itinerary. We will be in room #2502, and will be getting to Port Canaveral by Disney Transportation and should be there no later than noon on the 7th.
Getting our Resv# today has kept us from getting some of the excursions that we wanted, but the main thing is we are on this cruise and Reid will love anything we get to do.
DW(Heather) DS(Cole 10) DS(Reid 7) and I(Bob) look forward to meeting all of you on the promenade deck at 3:00 on Sunday.

In case anyone forgets their list I will have one hanging on a dry erase board outside our room, but I think that meeting at the promenade will be just fine for all of us since the ship is sold out.
Anyone have any exciting cruise plans that they want to share? DH and I are getting a couples massage on our sea day, I would like to get a rainforest pass for the day. We do not have any excursions, but we want to try the big water bikes at CC.

We had a great time at Reids MAW party, he was so surprised when the lady from Make a Wish told him his wish had been granted he said are we going this summer and she said your leaving next week he was like Yes!!!!!!!
We have pics and video that we would love to share with you all at the meet and greet Sunday afternoon.
Still trying to figure out what excursions we can get booked on so late in the game, would like to take the boys to Atlantis water park and are trying to find a cheaper way than thru the cruise ship to book it. If anybody has done this before please let me know how you may have done it.
Thanks again to everyone for your help in makeing this a vacation that Reid will never forget. This week will drag out forever I'm affraid before we leave here on Saturday to fly to Orlando. Hello,
We are another MAW family, just got our trip details last Thursday night! We'll be just down the hall in 2530/32.
How did you manage to get an overnight from MAW? They told us it was against policy because our trip involved an "international" destination. So we don't get into Orlando until noon on the 7th. I hope there are no delays!
Anyway, we were encouraged to "not be shy" about wearing MAW buttons. Along with my Hawaiian shirt, they should make us easy to identify.

Okay, Amanda - you better do your "lets get warm dance" soon. I keep checking the weather and it is getting colder!!
But I realize that if it is sunny, it will be okay - just really could use that warmth these days.
I went online and registered a while ago and printed out everything. Megan, something is not right - contact bc it will go so much faster at check in when you get to the ship. Have a safe trip down and we will see you at 3:00.
We leave Friday and can't wait...just counting down and crossing things off the list!
Bob, I put those magnets on the back of my white board (they have adhesive you peel off) and they stick right on- or you can hang it over your fish. I did put together the canvas totes for you to hang over the fish for the FE gifts just in case you don't get a chance to get anything - so tell Heather that is done. If I had more time, I would have handmade you one, but unfortunately, time is critical these days.

We were going to do that too but we decided on the Stingray excursion (blackbeards)- I still don't know if we made the right choice. My kids really like to snorkel which is why we chose this one as I can live with snokeling close to the shore - jumping overboard from a boat scares me...did it before and really don't want to do it again.
I think I may still look at the Comfort inn to see how much it would cost and then rethink my choice...decisions decisions...

Welcome aboard, it's nice to see another childs wish come true. You guys are probably going through many of the same emotions we have been going through.
My wife has been obsessing over packing and planning and making everything perfect since we found out. I found this board as well as a FaceBook page and that has helped us so much. We have gotten lots of tips and hints on how to make this trip great. Not sure of the FB page but it is on some earlier post here.
How old are your kids? We have two boys' 10 and 7. Our 7 year old is the MAW child.
I have no clue how we got an overnight. They just told us when the flight is. It could be because we live in a smaller area and the flights aren't as frequent.
We are looking forward to meeting you! We did not receive any MAW buttons, but have contacted our MAW volunteer to see if she can get us any.
If we don't have buttons we will be the family of 4 with Arkansas Razorback shirts on, should not be hard to miss us.

We called Comfort Inn and they said that we would have to book a 2 nite stay min. The price jumps up almost $100 a night starting on the 8th so 2 nites would be about $650 for a room.
If you try to do it on line they tell you that it has to be a 4 nite min. I called Atlantis, and they said that they sell tickets to the public at the hotel on a 1st come 1st served basis for $110 for adults and $80 for kids 4-12.
To book it on the cruise it was well over $700 for our family of 4. I asked if they sold out and the girl said that this time of year they don't, but in another couple of weeks when spring break really gets going they usually do.

Jackie,
Just learned I can't PM here until I get my post count up to 10. I'm not sure we will make 3:00 because we land in Orlando at noon and I was allowing three hours just to make it onboard. Is that overly pessimistic?
Anyway, the weather forecast for the Bahamas sure looks good:

Tuesday 3/9 Partly Sunny, 79
Wednesday 3/10 Partly Cloudy, more humid, 83

Did anyone rebook for next year? We are doing the same 4 night cruise next year, but on the Dream of course! Can't wait to see the new ship :)

Well we were going to rebook for a 7 night around the same time, but didn't because we have a wedding to plan and save for, so depends on if we can pull off a cruise next year or not. We are doing a site visit April 2nd at disney!! can't wait!!

Hi everyone - sorry we did not get to the meet and greet but wanted to say thank you to you all for making this cruise extra special for our family. The FE gifts were above and beyond - a huge highlight to an already wonderful vacation. All the tips on these boards added so much. Thanks again everyone! Keeping my fingers crossed we can cruise next year, too!:)

I'm so glad you liked it, Jackie! Yours were our first gift and we loved the cookbook and candy bars and then all the gifts that followed. The whopee cushion was a big hit! You really went above and beyond! Hope all is well!

Thank you everyone for the gifts, and I hope you enjoyed the little suprises! Apologies for not coming sooner, but college has me booked!
Congratulations Amanda! I already tagged you PJ, but if I can be of any assistance please let me know. I am having a DFTW Dec 28, 2010 at SBP, so if you need the little details, maybe I can help.
Sad to say, I do not think cruising is for me, but never the less, I am sure i will be back on one before I know it. :grouphug:
Thanks again everyone!

Hi Everyone, Me and my DH and DD were on this cruise. :cloud9: It was our very first one! I just found out about this site a couple days ago. I wish I would've known about it before. What great ideas! I wondered about the FE's and magnets. My DD picked out her own fabric today so we can make our FE for our trip #2 in a couple weeks! :yay: Hopefully we can meet you guys on one of our next trips. :grouphug:
