When during the year am I likely to get the best AP discount on a Deluxe resort? Are there certain months, weeks of the year, etc. that usually have better discount rates than others?

From what I've experienced and heard, value season is the best time to get the biggest AP discounts. January is a great time to get discounts. Sept. seems to be an excellent time also. The worst times are during school vacations - Easter, Christmas.

AP discounts have been 30% of the rack rate for the various resorts this year (last year they were up to 40%). Since the cheapest rack rates are during 'value season' that is time for the cheapest AP rate.

You also need to consider the number of rooms blocked off for AP discounts. Again, during the slow 'value' season, you will find it much easier to get an AP rate in the first place.
