Does the $39.99 include tax on plan?

I'm trying to figure out if DDP is worth it based on the restaurants we have booked. Is it $39.99 plus tax, or just $39.99?

Are you on a package reservation? The dining plan is charged as part of the package and you will pay tax on the package. You're definitely going to be paying tax on the room and the tickets.

I can't remember if DVC members, who buy the plan separately, pay tax on the plan alone or not. I do not think they do.

No tax on DDP for DVC members. We always just pay the 71.99/night or 29.99/night

Folks who have priced things out with and without dining plan report that the listed plan package price already includes taxes, that is, it will add exactly $39.99 (for 2009) per adult per night for DDP, not $39.99 plus tax.

Thanks so much!!! Its a DVC add on. So that has me saving $10 over our whole trip using DDP, based on what we have scheduled and cheap CS. I guess we'll do it so we can get the good CS and snacks!
