How Tough to Get is HH in May with 7 Month Window?

Hi.

We're VWL and Beach Club members and are thinking of visiting Hilton Head next May. We are flexible in that we could go any time in May. We also probably would be renting Friday and Saturday nights with cash. We are thinking of a studio. Anybody have any experience to share with availability for Hilton Head for May? I would think it would be harder to find availability around Memorial Day.

May should be a time when HH is available at 7 months.

Be aware that there are only a total of 21 studios (and 21 1BR villas) at the resort and they do go quickly. The 2BR's are more easily available.

If you are flexible with your dates, you'll probably be OK.

I got a 2 bedroom in at the 4 month window, for the past May. 1 bedroom is quite difficult, but 2 bedroom, no problem at all. However we also went during Sun - Thurs. It may be tougher for the weekend.

Thanks for the replies! We're Disney Club members also (I keep it for the discounts on National car rentals). I figure if DVC doesn't have any cash discounts on rooms during May for the cash ressies, I can probably snag a discount with the Disney Club membership.

We went to HH last year in early May -- reserved a studio at 7 months without a problem. Good Luck!!

We reserved a studio this year for the last week of May. No problem but we made the reservation right at the 7 month window. We called too early to reserve the last day so we made it for all the other days and called back to add the last day.
