Where do you leave your luggage if you check in early and head to the park?
I am planning to check in at 8:00 am, and leave it in the car to be honest, unless you know better!
Thanks

We left ours in the car, locked in the boot. My daughter was worried that someone may break in to steal her plushies which were on the back seat, but it didn't happen.

Yep, the car. However, we checked in at 7.30am last time and our cabin was available so we left it there. :)

Wow, is there really nowhere secure to leave your luggage at DCR? I'd be v loathe to leave it in the car esp as we always have so much we probably couldn't conceal it properly :lmao:
I did read a review somewhere online about lots of UK people having their tyres slashed at DCR last summer (might have been 08?) so it makes you wonder if security is as good as you hope :confused3
It might be worth emailing guest communications and asking them if there is anywhere you can leave it that is secure - you never know they might reply!!
I have this address if it's any use- DLP.UK.ADMIN@disney.com

Im sure there isnt anywhere at DCR to leave it as everyone will have their own transport so its not needed.
We've been to DCR twice and left luggage in the car with no problems - remember chances are the car wont be there with the luggage in but at the main car park.
The 2nd time we stayed there was part of a 2 week holiday in France so we had a car full of stuff and were happy to leave it in the car

There is no way we would be able to get stuff out of the car to store anywhere - it is crammed with things all over the place! And there are lots of cars on the main car park which are the same, loaded up.

Leaving it in the car seems the only thing to do. I am not too worried now so many people have said the do the same. I really appreciate all the replies.

I suppose thinking about it, when we went to Center Parcs this year we left our car with stuff crammed in until our lodge was ready at 4pm - as someone says, everyone is doing the same.
Being obtuse here but I don't see what having your own transport has to do with providing the facility to leave your luggage securely somewhere.... I would probably leave my stuff like everyone else if forced but it isn't the most secure thing to do - crime definately does happen at DLRP as some board members have found out unfortunately, in fact I think some unscrupulous people think DLRP gives them 'rich pickings' :sad2:

I suppose its because you actually have somewhere to leave it (in the car) whereas if you arrive by plane or Eurostar etc they have to have somewhere to store peoples luggage while waiting for rooms to be ready. I know when we have arrived early at other hotels as well we have left the luggage in the car rather than unload it into the left luggage room
