free/cheap upgrades low season

Does anyone have any tips on getting a free or cheap upgrade?
We're staying at the sheraton world resort 30th nov - 14th dec.
As this is very low season I would imagine that they would have plenty of empty rooms.

might be low season....

but this is also in the middle of american Thanksgiving......so that might affect some availabiltiy ( especially the first part of your vacation around nov 30 )

Check the web to see if there is a Sheraton club card. I know Holiday Inn has one,as does Swan/Dolphin,the card usually carries a privilage or two, you might score an up grade that way.

And ask over on the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board if you can't find a club.
