Hilton Head in October

Does anyone have any thoughts on HH in the beginning of October? Weather? Ocean temperature? Any help is appreciated. I know someone has a personal web site on this but I can't remember who! Thanks!

HH weather is usually delightful in early October and the ocean will likely be warm enough to swim. The island will have quieted down by that time, but all services and activities are still available. Plan on having a great time.
