Any Updates/Pix on Boardwalk Renovations?

Just wondering how far along things are now. We are going May 5-16 and taking my parents with us. Since they are a little too old to do the parks every day, they want to lounge around the hotel most days. I am worried that the renovations will make it unpleasant.

Hi, Just returned from BWV late Saturday. The only renovations currently under way is renovations to the exterior of the INN (not DVC) part of the building as there is scaffolding all around it, plus cleaning the exterior awnings of the Villas. IMHO, the awnings really need to be replaced not cleaned, most are faded beyong hope, and some are even torn. The Lobby are is due for renovations this summer, and the pool will be done in early September. The hallways, and the rooms we used 5080,5082,3040 & 3042 were all in imaculate shape and look like they were just recently done over.

Here's the anticipted schedule from the latest VM.

May 5-Sept. 5 enhancement of the lobby and porte cochere entrance.

Exterior renovations to being Sept. 11 near Jellyrolls and continue along the Boardwalk back to the Village Green.

Luna Park Pool closed Sept. 10-28.
