We are doing the Quick Service Plan in March. We have done the regular dining plan the last 4 times and only did counter service once a day for our 5 days. I know Sunshine Seasons/Epcot, Flame Tree BBQ/AK, Studio Catering/HS, and Wolfgang Pucks/DTD are all very good, and are our typical spots, but what are some other folks' favorites. We will be having 10 counter service meals. I know we will at least eat at Sunshine's twice as that is by far our favorite with the grilled meats and the bakery bar included. Any input would be appreciated.

The Pepper Market Grill at Coronado Springs is my favorite.

Pepper Market is the best resort CS by far. Our other favorites:

Anywhere we can get a Turkey Leg with a drink and chips.

MK: Cosmic Rays, Columbia Harbor House, Pecos Bills

HS: Backlot Express, Toy Story Pizza Planet, Starring Rolls (limited sandwich offerings are made off site and usually run out by mid afternoon, but all the mouthwatering pastries count as dessert!)

AK: Flame Tree hands down, Yak & Yeti CS, Pizzafari

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, Tangerine Cafe (Morocco), Yakatori House (Japan), Fish & Chips window in the U.K., Sommerfest (Germany for brats & pretzels), the Pastry shop in France has sandwiches or a cheese plate, and yummy dessert pastries.

DTD: WPE, Earl of Sandwich.

If you like the pizza at Disney, we got combo meals with a salad and drink and dessert at both Pizza Planet at DHS and Pinnochio Haus at MK. It's a great deal.

DH and I liked Cooke's of Dublin in DTD and 2nd the Columbia Habour House in MK.If you want something unusual check out the CS at Norway in Epcot. It isn't for everyone so have a backup in mind(Yorkshire Fish & Chips and the pastry shop in France are good).
If by chance you are staying at POFQ their CS is good

Alas Flame tree was also my fave UNTIL they got rid of the corn muffin for the puny cup of coleslaw... still good but not what it used to be.:sad1:

where are you staying? We found POP Century to have one of the best food courts. Couldn't believe all the choices and everything was plentiful and yummy.

Just want to make sure you are staying at a resort with a good CS because relying on only eating at the parks can be stressful. I agree a trip over to CSR for their counter service was great. Kinda crazy to figure it out, but the food selection was great.

Oh I agree! We were on the QSDP this past March and are doing it again March 2010. We were staying at CBR but hopped over to POP and POR to use their food courts for lunch. POP was especially GREAT! They have a good selection and the food very awesome. Love that tie dyed cheesecake for dessert.

It covers all the food I had, where I had it, and the quality.

Hopefully you will find the information usefull.

Question, was this still served on a wheat wholegrain roll or did they go back to the italian bread.

We love Columbia Harbor House. My DH loves their tuna sandwich, kids mac n cheese, and I love the Fish planks. Something different.

Pecos Bills is another fav. I get the taco salad -you get the shell and meat and make your own salad from the fixin bar. You can go back for more fixins so its like an endless salad. Another something different for us.

We definitely had a lot of food and it was good at Sunshine Seasons.
