Paying OOP and the Dining Plan

We are leaving tomorrow:cool1: It will be me, DH, DD15 and DD6. I was wondering at our TS restaurants if me, DH and DD6 use a credit for our meals, can we pay DD15's meal OOP. Sometimes, she just wants a salad and a dessert. Can we save her 1 TS credit for future use and just pay OOP for her salad and dessert even though the other 3 of us will be using a TS credit?

Yes. You can use any number of credits per meal, up to your listed party size, but you are never required to use exactly one credit per person.

Yes you can. Make sure you explain to the server how you'd like the checks split when you order, not after you've eaten and are ready to pay.

yes, but in this case there isn't much reason for the daughter to NOT use her dining credit because she can't order just a salad in these restaurants.

Thank you all. Very helpful information. She can be a picky eater at times. She loves buffets so no problem there. It's just most times she would prefer a light appetizer and a dessert. I didn't want to waste a credit on something she isn't going to eat. More credits for me and DH then :banana:

We actually were going to get the deluxe plan just so she could get her appetizer but then what a waste when she probably wouldn't eat much of her entree. This will work out much better.

That actually is a great idea because we were going to pay OOP for some character breakfasts. I will have DD6 use her credit there and we will pay OOP for the adults. Then pay for DD6 OOP at a sit down restaurant and use a credit for DH and myself and pay OOP for DD15 for her salad and dessert.
