I know this might seem like an odd question, but does anyone know how wide the hallway in a standard (not handicap accessible) cabin is?
TIA!

I cant help you with your answer, but i dont think thats an odd question. My mom is in a wheelchair, and when she travels, that is a common question on her list of many when making reservations/vaca plan.

I think you're best bet is to call Ft Wilderness directly and ask. All the floorplans they have online are pretty generic and don't include measurements

I would call, and just add that they have cabins that appear accessible form the outside, (they have ramps, and are set father apart).
Hope it works out for you!

I am not sure of the dimensions but I know I carried a suitcase in each hand and walked down the hall and still had lots of clearance on each side. I think a wheelchair should fit just fine down the hall

I am not sure how exact you need to be, but my guess is the the hall is close to 5 feet wide. The door to the bedroom seems to be a standard 4 foot door, and the opening has side panels for the door to close off the room. It's plenty wide for a wheelchair or scooter, if that is your concern.
I found a 7 minute long video someone took of a Fort Wilderness cabin on Youtube. There is a shot of the hall at right about the 4 minute mark (the videographer was thorough): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XezXUImhJoU
When I watched this video, the cabin looked and its contents looked narrower than in real life, but it gives you a very good overview of what a cabin looks like.
I hope that helps.

I don't think it's quite that wide. I had a hard time getting my bike down the hall and back walking beside it, which would have been a snap with a 5ft wide hall (I kept it locked to the bunk beds when I didn't need to use it). I would guess more like 3 1/2 feet, possibly 4 feet, at most. I think the bedroom door is a three foot wide door.
