Hope you all don't mind when I find stuff about WDW to share. :)
Victoria and Alberts will be hosting it's first ever New Years Eve event. (http://www.stitchkingdom.com/2009/10/21/victoria-and-alberts-to-host-new-years-eve-event-for-first-time/)

Is that $395 per person, or couple? :scared1:

Looks to be per person. I know we've done some nice dinners here in Dallas before and it was about 180-200 per person, so I could see V&A being this much I guess. :confused3

We did a dinner that was about $400 per person one time in Hawaii.
It was great - and decadent - and totally nutz.

Is Vick and Al's a Michelin star restaurant?
That's the only way I'd pay those prices. :confused3

$395's a bit steep for me right now.

One fabulous dinner or......

One fabulous room at one of the monorail resorts for a night....
Decisions decisions. ;)
Although I'm sure there'd be a few accoutrements with the dinner.

Quite pricey, but I am sure it will sell out.

I'll pay about $150 per person for a really nice night out at a great restaurant (if the funds permit it), but for $395 they had had better have have gorgeous naked hairy muscle men, feeding the food to me, followed up with a happy ending as dessert.
Just sayin'.

That would be a big NO.
Only with a captive audience and the love of Disney World can Disney get away with charging the prices they do for food and everything else (including a 3 star resort at 5 star price - Grand Floridian).

Yeah. Happy ending for dessert, and I'm gonna want to try every dessert on the menu! ;)
