We have a TT and live in FL. What do you suggest all year round? I'm thinking laundry and making beds...is it worth it to make the beds or throw a sleeping bag down? :confused3

Easier to wash sheets than sleeping bags, esp since our adult bags don't fit in the washer. We have to go to the laundramat and use the oversize washers. Also easier to carry back and forth.

Yep, I have sheets and linens specifically for the camper. They stay in the camper all the time. My camper "bed" is a convertible dinette, but we keep it as a bed all the time and added 4" of memory foam on top of the camper cushions. We bought an aluminum folding table and eat outside.

Another vote for the sheets and blankets! It does feel more like home. And you can have layers to add or take away depending on the weather which you cannot do with a sleeping bag.

We also have dedicated bedding for hte camper. We wash it after a trip and store it in the airtight large ziplock bags to keep it clean between trip. Throwing a dryer sheet inside helps it smell fresh.

we camp non-stop and use sheets as they can be EASILY cleaned... The kids always cause dirt hence the need to clean...
If its chilly, we throw the sleeping bags over top of us or the kids.....

We use sheets and down comforters. I do the same as a pp - I have sets specifically for each bed in the camper, and after washing in between each trip, I keep them in large rubbermaid containters (with a fresh dryer sheet) in the camper.

the SUPER DW bought me a fleece bag, sort of like a sleeping bag linner. I now have two, one is lighter than the other. I sleep on a thermorest in the bag. if it gets cold, I use the other fleece or sleeping bag.

Washes fast, dries fast.

Blankets and sheets it is...we have old down comforters and they seems to be perfect for FL.
Thanks everybody for the great responses. The sleeping bag get thrown in for the winter months. I just wish winter would now come to Orlando...;)
Thanks again!:goodvibes

One more vote for sheets here! We have a couple of different sets and use Flannel sheets in the winter months which are nice and comfy.

Well, I'm different - but maybe because we live in Ohio...

I do use sheets on the bottom (along with egg crates over memory foam) but then I use a duvet cover over a sleeping bag. When the bed is made up, it looks nice (like a day bed) with matching pillow shams - but then with the A/C on "FREEZE" at night, it's warm and cozy.

When we're back from a trip, I remove the sheets and just the duvet cover and wash -

We use sheets and blankets, and a quilt on top. We also use the Flannel sheets in the winter.

I agree sheets & blankets. We also have a tote for our camping gear! Happy Camping at the Fort!
