I know that there is no dining plan for children under 3, they eat off the adult's plate. My question pertains to a family style dinner, such as Ohana, where my 2 and a half year old will probably not like the food items offered. I have heard from people that Ohana will make a grilled cheese, hot dog, etc for their child. I'm wondering if they will do this for a child under age 3 who is technically not on the dining plan? I would like to ask for them to make him something I know he will eat, but technically I guess we're not really paying for him. But then again, Ohana does not offer a kid's menu (so I've heard) so I can't buy him a separate meal. Anyone have experience with this? :confused3

Not sure, they would not give my 3 yr. old anything else to eat last year when we were there, and we paid for it. I asked for some different food for her, and the server told me she needed to eat what we were having. I have heard of others getting "kid food", but maybe it is up to the server, or how busy they are?

We did breakfast at Ohanas and it was great! My kids loved it.

They will bring something different out for your child and if your server says it's not possible, ask for a manager. You will most likely have to pay for it though. You might be surprised and you child might like the food if it's offered - broccoli, noodles, turkey, steak.

We were able to get mac and cheese for our boys when they were 2 as well as on this last trip when they were 3.

According to Allears.net (http://allears.net/menu/menu_oh.htm) there is a "Short Child's Menu Available Upon Request".

Of course if you are requesting food that is not on your plate to give to your under 3 y.o. child I would expect to pay for it.
My kids DS3 and DD14 months (at the time) loved everything at O'Hana when we ate there in Sept. But they will try just about anything.

There is tons of food at 'Ohana. DS1 loved the turkey and noodles. And actually the salad, but my kids like salad. He ate some broccoli, but preferred the turkey, steak & noodles. Oh and of course the bread! We didn't ask for anything other than all the food we got.
