Matt Ouimet No Longer with Starwood ... Could/Would Disney Bring him Back?

After listening to the Podcast I Googled Matt Ouimet, I wanted to see a picture of him, and it came up the he is no longer with Starwood Resorts. Looks like he left them...or was let go, not sure, about a month ago. He left Disney to go to Starwood. Pete is not the only one who thinks he should have gotten Meg Crofton's job, I have read that other places and on other Disney fan sites. I wonder if there is any chance of him coming back to Disney now?

Hard to say if he burned bridges when he left Disney after his stint as DL Prez. We first heard of him when we took our one-and-only DCL cruise and were so impressed with the quality of the experience. Then he came to the rescue at DL after the disastrous Pressler/Harris regimes and really turned things around. I'm hoping we'll see him again but don't know if things work like that in the Iger/Rasulo regime.

Just listened to the 08/05/09 podcast in which Pete went on a rant about Meg Crofton and said Matt Ouimet was the guy that should have gotten that job (or Jay Rasulo's job). I didn't realize that in addition to fixing DCL and DLR, he also cleaned up DVC. How on Earth did Disney let this guy get away?

Matt left starwood in September of 2008, not 2009. He is currently the president and coo of corinthian colleges (COCO) in santa ana CA.

This is true. Apparently Matt was terminated though, it was not a voluntarily leaving.

The little I remember reading was very vague as to why he was terminated.
