Hi - I have just returned from DLP, and there are no designated smoking areas, people were pretty much just smoking everywhere outdoors, even in outdoor queueing areas, which was a bit much really.
Don't know about the hotel, sorry. :confused3

There are supposed to be designated areas in the parks and these were marked on the maps last time I checked.
However - very few people seem to actually pay attention to these and instead prefer to smoke anywhere and everywhere :rolleyes1
They are also not too well publicised (they're on the map and i think a small sign at the areas but that's about it - there's nothing clear to say "no smoking" in other places).

The sooner they make it completely non smoking the better.
If I wanted smoke all over my family, I would rather do it myself and as I don't, I would rather strangers didn't.
We stood in the queue last week for Crushs Coaster and had one couple in front smoke about 10 cigarettes between them in 45 minutes

We went in sept/oct and as a smoker myself i was disapointed the see people just walking around smoking, in the parks there a special areas with sitting and some have shelter and these are clearly marked on the map, i only ever smoked in there areas and for the 6 days we where there, only 1 person joined me in these areas, felt abit stupid at times, watching people just walking past with a cigarette in there mouths.
the disney village has no smoking areas as far as i know, but the sports bar has ashtrays on the tables and most bins still have the mesh ashtrays on the side/top,
so seems there are no rules in there.
The restaurants, cafes and hotels are non smoking which is brill. People were smoking around the parks. I must say though, we have just come back and I don't think it was half as bad as last year, which was nice.
