Hi, I think I need a little reassurance.
In order to take as little cash as possible when we go soon I prebooked and paid for transfers with RS Transports.
I've got the confirmation emails but obviously they're in French.
My slight concern is, I've never travelled to terminal 2B before so I was wondering how easy it would be for me to get a little lost/disorientated at the airport and miss where I'm supposed to be getting collected from by RS Tranpsorts.
I'm assuming when we land and go through security etc and collect our baggage there is only one place we can wait?
And what should I do if I can't see anyone with my name on a board? I can't speak any French, all I can do is ask if they can speak English.
Am I fretting unnecessarily?

RS transports speak very good English, I ended up phoning them several times last visit when our flight was delayed and then cancelled and in fact they telephoned me twice too, to find out if I had any news.

When we finally arrived a day late I realised after security that I hadn't been told which departure gate to meet them at, rang them and our driver was with us within minutes.

Noticed on my confirmation for January that they have said which departure gate to meet the driver at.

You'll be fine with them. :goodvibes

Hi Big H. We were at Terminal B this week. No problems. Easy luggage pick up and walk straight out. Don't know where your pick up is though. We were VEA and it was exit 12 for the bus. Once you have your luggage walk out of there and turn left. There is a desk there with staff who speak great english. They will tell you which exit you need. There are also lots of eating place. Macs. Pizza Hut and cafes to get something to eat. Great terminal this one. Good luck

I would email RS again and ask for the confirmation to be sent in English. I've never had any problems with them and they have always communicated to me in English.

I also emailed them a couple of days before my trip to double check where they were meeting me. I landed at T1 (CDG) and was told to go down 1 floor to departures and they would meet me there, but as I came out of the arrivals area after picking up my luggage they were waiting holding a sign with my name on so I didn't have to go anywhere.

As a general rule - if you have booked a private shuttle then they will be waiting for you as you come out of the luggage collection bit. And you can't get lost up to this point - just follow everyone else from your plane! If you have booked a shared shuttle then they will have probably arranged to meet you outside (as of last March it was by Gate 10 for Terminal 2B). Here (http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/Resources/a1e51829-927a-4fc6-b3e1-19d45794c83e-Aeroport_CDG2B.pdf) is a map of the terminal

I would just make sure you take their number with you incase there is a problem. But as already mentioned they speak good English, so don't worry about that if you do need to contact them. :)
