If so, which did you trade out to, how many points and time of year, accomodations and suggestions. My fiancee and I got back this week and stayed at the Paris. We both want to go back and I want to use my DVC points to trade out. I just wanted some suggestions even if they are for one of the other resorts in Las Vegas to trade out to. I saw both Jockey Club and Polo from the outside. Jockey Club looks pretty plain compared to other resorts and Polo Towers.
Thanks in advance for responding.

We just got back from Vegas recently as well. Stayed at Treasure Island. I didn't realize that the Polo Towers were an option for DVC, we were approached repeatedly to go to a pitch for them, they offered us show tickets, free nights, etc. We didn't take them up on it though. Personally, I think you can get such great room rates in Vegas that I wouldn't want to waste my points. But then we only go to Vegas for short hops, I guess if you wanted to stay awhile, condo accommodations would be nice.

Okay I didn't stay there - my friend was getting married at Las Vegas and this was my wedding present to her - they went in September and stayed at the Jockey Club (I was not particuliar since it was a last minute trip - they had gotten a great price on tickets and had to go then ). they loved it of course they have not stayed in a DVC resort - and yes I could have sold my points but less than 60 days out I didn't have that much time.
I traded a 1-bedroom at oKW in November so it was 172 points for a 2-bedroom in September. very expensive considering I had found a $60 a night rate on the internet (but of course it was for the following week not then darn it).
Anyway as I say my guests loved it (even when they got sick) - she is a party person so she took 21 people in the plane with her and have 6 guests in her room - boy are we different - but everyone has different taste!
LV has too cheap of rooms to make using DVC exchanging worth while. Most of the resorts are not in a convenient place either. I've seen rooms as low as $69 per night for the Mirage and NY as well as a couple of others. Saw one advertised this week for $69 which included extras like a buffet but can't remember which resort.
