My father arrived from NC and my sister from Portland, OR for a visit. On Tuesday - July 9, they took my son (6) and daughter (3) to Disney. They stayed at Riverside's Alligator Bayou # 38. It is a great building, just a short walk from the Main pool and building, and very close to the North Depot bus stop. My wife and I joined them the next day. We were given Acadian house, just next door to building #38. We took the boat to Downtown Disney and ate at the Rainforest. We awoke the next morning and ate breakfast at the resort before going to MK. We had a great day, although it was a little crowded. We returned to the resort in shifts, napped, swam, showered, etc. and went to Epcot for dinner at the Rose and Crowne. We had a later ps and enjoed the show from our table. Epcot was not crowded at all. We had a great time. Friday, my sister, my son, and I went to Blizzard Beach in the am. We had a good time for about 1 hour before a thunderstorm came up and they shut the park, down. No problem, back to the resort for ice cream and surrey bike riding. We went to MGM that evening for dinner at Mama Melrose's and seating at Fantasmic! Great show as always! We got up early this am and drove back to Tampa. As always, as great stay at Disney! :D :) :D  :D :) :D

Glad you had a great time.

We stayed at PO-R Alligator Bayou in June. If you stay there again, try the cane pole fishing. We had a blast!!

I'd love to be so close to be able to get away for short trips. how cool to see the show from Rose and Crown. We got patio seats with no PS last Dec and it was fantastic!
