Welcome Kit question

When we toured WDW in Jan. We signed all of the papers for VWL and got the book and small zippered tote bag. I then found this wonderful site which steared us towards a resale because we really liked BWV so we cancelled with Disney. Anyway, we closed on a resale in Feb. and just got our cards in the mail last week. We also received another members guidebook but no beach tote which I am assuming we got in Jan. Is there anything else we should be getting? Some of you have mentioned a license plate holder. They sound really neat. IF they are not giving them away anymore, can you buy them. I also have not received any pins. Thanks for any info.

From what I've heard, you only get the beach tote if you buy direct from DVC. I bought direct and got the tote with the permanent member card. I got the zippered bag also with my original paperwork.

I purchased a resale in Oct. 2000. I received the Member Guidebook, permanent cards, deeds, pins, etc. However, when no tote bag came I called my guide and she advised since I bought a resale it was not included. Since I saved a significant amount of money buying a resale it doesn't bother me that a tote bag was not included. Enjoy!! ;)

No tote or pins here either Susan. I know we bought around the same time- I'll let you know if we get a pin.(well at least we got into BWV!)
