dolphin parking

hi
can someone tell me if there is self parking at the dolphin and do you have to pay for it? if so, how much is it? i remember awhile ago, someone mentioning their car being broken into in the dolphin's lot. does this happen a lot? should i worry about my car there? and does it happen more there than the disney hotels? doesn't seem like it should, but maybe someone has a reason for it.

Self parking is free, and valet parking is $10 plus tax. I hadn't heard about cars being broken into recently, but I'm sure it happens at the Swan/Dolphin on occasion because it happens at the theme parks. Leave nothing of value in your car.

The Dolphin's parking areas are not gated like the Disney resorts' lots. So your car is more open to theft. The self-park area is somewhat remote from the lobby entrance and isn't as "watched" as the valet area. However, I don't feel uncomfortable parking in the self park area overall.
